SESSION GUIDE MEREDITH STATON PORTRAITURE

Sweet Friend, I write this letter from my heart and hope that it touches you in a way

that allows you to understand where the passion for the creation of this work began.

I have such a desire to see the Lord work in women's lives through photography, so that

they might see themselves in the way that he created them. Thats right, you are perfect,

just the way you are. You are his creation, and his beloved child. He loves you and it breaks

his heart to see you be so hard on yourself. This is something I still struggle with daily, but he

is showing me each and every day that I am exactly who I am, for a reason, and that I was fearfully

and wonderfully made.( Psalm 139: 14)

I want to show you the way the world sees you . I want you to have timeless classic portraits

of yourself that your children, and generations to come can cherrish forever. I want to help

you conquer the fear of being in front of the camera, so that you will be in candid shots

with your children, and wont shy away from having your picture taken. I want to allow the Lord

to bless your heart through me and this experience, that you would be empowered in who

you are in him, and that you would have the confidence that he created inside of you.

Dear sweet friend, I covet to pray for you as we take this journey together. I pray that the Lord would

allow this expirience to impact the way you see yourself, your marriage, and would recharge your

batteries for the crazy life you face everyday. Every woman deserves a moment to be pampered.

Why not celebrate where the Lord has you in your life at this moment, Allow me to show you through

the talents and abilities that he has given me, the beautiful stunning woman he made you to be.

I feel so blessed and humbled that the Lord would grant me the oppertunity to be able to

help women catch a glempse of themselves through the eyes of their creator, and that it changes

the way they value themseves.

Nothing humbles ,me more than to experience a woman cry and ask if the images are really of her.

And to know that the Lord has gifted her the ablility to see herself through my lens. I in no way can

do this on my own. I give him all the glory and accolades for what he creates through me.

I feel so humbled that the Lord allows and uses me to bless the lives of women in this way.

experience we will try to learn as much

about you and your interests as we can

so that we can design a shoot just for you ..

We would schedule a chat or a meeting

based around your schedule over the

next few days. You can visit with us in our

office, or we could meet for coffee or

desret and chat about what you are wanting

to capture.

This meeting is more to determine that

our personalities are a good fit! It's so

important to mesh with your

photographer and have great

chemistry! At this meeting we will also take

care of all of the business of the session and

discuss details.

Once we have you on our calendar

for your portrait cutore session we will begin

the planning process in more depth, and

you will receive more information from us.

Every year in your life is special and different

adn these sessions are perfect to capture

you, in your womanhood, as you celebrate

the changes of life.

Its all about you feeling comfortable with us,

and us creating the perfect session to portray

your perfect femininity.

Now, your sesion is here! My assistant and I will arrive and begin by welcoming you in to

our studio, or by arriving at your home. We will discuss any final details of your shoot and

your wardrobe choices. We will hang your wardrobe choices for you in a room where

you can change. As you sip on a refreshing drink and enjoy a treat or two, My asistant

will begin Hair and makeup. I will leave you in her capable hands so that you can enjoy

the relaxation of the hair and makeup process.

Once you are finished in hair and makeup we will begin your sesion, and don't worry, I

will coach you every step of the way. It's not a natual thing for women to know how to

pose in a way that makes them look amazing, that's my job and if you trust me I will

make sure you look amazing.

After your session you will return in a week to view your images and choose your products.

We offer you help through this process as well and try to make this a fun and seamless

process.

The Senior Expreince is more than just Senior Portraits. The senior xpreince is an oppertunity

for senior girls to celebrate their next step in their journey of life with a fashion forward

photo shoot expreince in Amazing locations and with time and attention paid to their

personality and interests.

This is a matter of personal preference. Many clients have told me that they were

really glad they did the senior experience. Its nice to have something different

than every other senior and something that is more about who they are today and

who they will be tommorow. Its an opppertunity for these young ladies to blossom

into the young women they are becoming and to introduce themselves as a young

woman to the world.

Staying away from traditional indoor backdrops, we create a one of a kind exprience for

each senior who books their sesion with us. No two seniors are the same so no 2 senior

expreince sessions will be the same.

I recommend scheduling your senior session with me in the summer before your senior

year however this can actually take place at any point during your senior year.

Now comes the best part ...

Now you can go home and relax and dream about all the beautiful images that will soon be yours.

I go through the images from your session and select the best. I am looking for the cream of the crop. I usually narrow it down to 45-50 images. Once I have the "final cut" selected I go through each individual picture. I look to correct any blemishes. Tiny details like stray hairs or wrinkles in cclothing once corrected can make all the difference in an image! My process also includes looking for images that would shine with a special touch like a vignette or a special color application.

Your images will be ready for viewing within one week. You will rejoin us in the studio to view your images and pick your products. During your consultation we will have shown you the products and so most clients already have an idea in mind of what they would like, then its just a matter of choosing your images.

Once full payment is received we will begin working on creating your product., and and having it processed. This can take up to three weeks as we are fully retoucthing all images in your final choices and sending off for printing.

Your order will then be careful!

When to schedule a session

Portrait Cutoure sessions are designed to celebrate you in any stage of your life. From Weddings, to Birthdays,to graduation, to the expectation of a new baby, to even the end of a bad relationship and the start of a new journey in life. these sessions can help you see yourself in a different light. They are designed to make you feel beyond beautiful, and are completely custom created just for you to celebrate, embrace, and encourage the woman that you are.

Photo ideas to think about

When we schedule your session, we will have a conversation about what you are looking for. Do you want casual beautiful rustic pictures? Are you more interested in a beautiful classic glmaourous look? Are you wanting to create a look that is distinctly just for you. Pinterest is an amazing tool to help you decide what looks you are looking for in your session. We suggest searching words like Glamour Photgraphy, Women's Headshots, Portrait Cutoure, Boudoir Photography. Create a board with the images you love, we wont recreate the images but it wil give us a feel for the direction you would like your session to go in. Also take a look at our boards on pinterest for added inspiriation.

Session Locations

We have a studio inside of Meredith's home which is located in Mountain Home, NC just outside of Hendersonville, however we do also shoot in our clients homes and on location from time to time. Depending on the look you are wanting to achieve we can disuss locations further after you book your session, but here are some things to consider.

Outdoor Locations We love giving everyone a unique experience, and we love shooting outdoors. Later evening sessions are best for outdoor shoots due to the lighting conditions. We have a few favorite locations but love shooting in a new area. If you have famiy land, or a location you would love to be photographed in, maybe a barn, or a location with amazing textures, feel free to share. One suggestion we make for Portrait Cutoure shoots is that if you would like to shoot on location it works best if you have a private changing area nearby. and that this is not a public area, or atleast is not a high traffic area so that you can focus on the shoot and people wil not cause a distratction as they pass by.
