WE LOVE BRISTOLKingsmill wanted something illustration based to capture and encapsulate what is was and why people loved bristol.

The brief was for something bold and colourful to stand out in paper alongside editorail copy with a fun aspect. Di� erent coloured and sized pre promotes were designed, alongside voting material, posters, teasers and digital.

BEST OF THE WEST Kingsmill decided to invest more of their advertising budget with the Evening Post/WDP which they said would have gone on other projects outside of our business if it wasn’t for the strength and popularity of the WE LOVE BRISTOL campaign.

The brief here was to design something that would appeal to a younger audience as well as the older reader, with the kingsmill brand identity taking a more involved role in the illustration, representing its ties with the South West.

WIN A TRIP TO NEW YORK A smaller competition in terms of exposure. More emphasis placed on the WIN scenario to catch the attention with an striking illustration incorporating the kingsmill sun logo over the statue of liberty torch.

Briefed to come up with pretigious awards artwork from scratch with logo design through to awards ceremony media, to recognize the excellence in the motoring industry in Bristol and the surrounding areas.

Brainstorming for a logo using the M and the A in an symetrical manner to produce the look of a road

going o� into the distance with the M representing mountains. Continuing with the symetrical nature to build the logo around it with metallic rendering to give the impression of a car badge.

Close-up metallic imagery was then married with logo and copy to give and overall polished and professional � nish.

Below is a small selection of designs which ranged from media pack, sponsorship pack, in-paper pre-promotes, dealership posters, website, ticketing and awards night media.
