URBAN: SCHOOL OF MUSIC AND FINE ART ‘ S CAMPUS

Stage 3, May 2014Site: Rochester, Kent

The project is located on the very unique site between the Norman Cas-tle and Gothic Cathedral in Rochester. The concept for the building was to create campus which within its con-temporary form and materials brings a new look to the city but in the same time keeps the castle and the cathedral as the prominent points. The choice of materials reflects the industrial history and current ap-pearanceof the city. The main concept was to create a visually permeable scheme which allows interraction between visitors and students. Students-artists are constantly exposed to the outside so they can experience contact with the audience even when they practice. In order to achieve that spaces created within the building manipulate different mediums such as mu-sic and art, theory and practice and synthesize them together.

Stage 3, December 2013Site: St Radigunds Place, Canterbury, Kent

The brief asked for a design of a housing estate consisting of 1-bedroom and 2-bedrooms flats for a postgradutate students. Site was situated in Canterbury, Kent on the shore of the river Stour. This location required a design that will be protected from the floodrisk.

In my design I proposed to create an artificial hill which will provide protection against flooding and separate public zone from the residential areas. Inside the ‘hill’ there would be a carpark zone with plant room and storage facilities.

Pilbrow & Partners, (2014 - current job)

I’ve joined the practice in September 2014, since then I’ve been working on a number of projects in different design stages.

Ingram HouseIs a 6 storey office to high end residential conversion located in the hisoric neighbourhood of Adelphi. The design consists of an office on the lower ground and ground floor and luxury apartments on the upper storeys

I have worked on this project from Stage D to Stage E - Con-struction. Over the 6 months I have been drawing detailed drawing in different scales, preparing specifications, selecting materials, contacting manufacturers and consultants.

The project was realised in BIM in Revit.

Ingram House - Interior design

Our team has been asked to prepare the interior design for the lobby. I have researched the materials and prepared a series of elevations, sections and plans present-ing the feel of the space.
