Job OpportunityA high ranking official of an overseas organization in Nicosia seeks to hire a Butler for full-time employment.

Major Duties: The Butler is responsible for all aspects of party preparation other than thefood preparation e.g. ensuring that liquor supplies are adequate, that all necessary items havebeen obtained (e.g., glasses, dishes, tables, etc.), that they are cleaned and returned promptlyafter the event, that staff is adequate to serve and that additional staff is properly utilizedand supervised.

The Butler is also responsible for maintaining the inventory at the house, monitoring cleaningsupplies and arranging for purchases as needed, and monitoring/maintaining the good workingcondition of the house, appliances, light bulbs, batteries, etc. The Butler has supervisoryresponsibilities over the work and the schedule of two maids.

Requirements: Education: Completion of High School Experience: Minimum 5 years work experience in events planning, management and/or the

hospitality industry. Language: Fluent in English Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent interpersonal skills; dependability; quality customer

service; attention to detail; willingness to work a flexible schedule including late eveningsand weekends; possession of a valid local driver's license.

Residency: Must have the required residency and work permit for employment in t heRepublic of Cyprus.
