Throughout the southern Polish border mountain ranges stretching from the Sudetenland after the Beskidy. There are also a chain of Polish Tatra mountains with the highest-Tatras. We also have the Bieszczady Mountains, Holy Cross Mountains, Pieniny, Beskidy and Giant. Polish does not belong to a rather high - the highest peak is the Scratches (2 499 m). Trips to the mountains provide an unforgettable experience. Zakopane is visited by one million tourists annually and is the most popular place in the Polish mountains. On the Polish side of the Tatras is the highest peak of Scratches. Scratches are the Polish-Slovak border. For the first time during the summer the peak was captured by Eduard Blasy July 30, 1840 year. In winter, the Scratches were captured in 1884 by Theodor Wundt. The other mount which is extremely popular isŚwinice Mount, often visited by tourists. It lies in the valley Gąsienicowa. The Tatras are the most beautiful Polish mountains. Wonderful scenery, rich flora and fauna, and interesting terrain is characteristic of Tatra nature. To protect the magnificent Tatra ravages of nature before man was created Tatra National Park. Banned the hunting of chamois and marmots. Officially, the Tatra National Park was established 1 January 1955. Park covers an area of 211, 64 km (square). Tatra National Park is a place available for tourists. The grounds set out is nearly 250 km hiking trails of varying difficulty. Moreover, tourists can ski and bike routes marked out. Tourists coming to the park can explore six mountain caves. The only permitted form of accommodation in the park is a bed in a mountain chalet. Mountain hut at the eye of the Sea is both the oldest in Poland and received title of the monument. Strictly protected plants can be found here, among others. pine, edelweiss and animals in this particular species such as brown bear, wolf, lynx and birds: eagle and falcon.

Sea Eye is the most beautiful lake of the Tatra Mountains and one of the finest in Europe. This is the famous lake and its surroundings are one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Tatras. Eye of the Sea popularity meant that the bank was his first in the Tatra mountain hut built in 1836. Currently, the lake there are two mountain refuges. View of the Sea Caught too many artists admired and was inspired works of painters, poets and musicians. The name of the lake comes from the legend according to which the lake had an internal connection with the sea. Another, formerly the name of the Marine Fish-Eye of the lake, due to the presence of the large amounts of fish. Sea Eye is situated at an altitude of 1395 meters above sea level and has an area of almost 35 hectares.

Solina Lake is located in the north-west of the Bieszczadyand is Poland's largest artificial body of water. The dam on Lake Solina is 81.8 m high and is the highest dam in Poland. Below the dam you can spot a huge hydroelectric power plant. Solina lake has an area of 22 km (square). Solina lake has three islands: Big and Little Rocky and Ghost Island. Solina Lake is an attractive destination for boaters and canoeists.

Giant Mountain waterfallsOn many streams are Giant waterfalls. The most popular are, on the Polish side: Kamienczyk waterfall, Szklarki waterfall and Podgórna waterfall. Kamienczyk waterfall is 846 meters above sea level, and its height is 27 meters. This waterfall is one of the attractions of Giant Mountains National Park.

Czerwone Wierchy - mountain range, located within the main ridge of the Western Tatras. It runs through the Slovak-Polish border.

Kasprowy Wierch - one of the most famous and most often visited mountains in Poland. Runs through the Polish-Slovak border.

Giewont is 1894 m. Its shape resembles a knight lying figure. Giewont consists of three peaks. The highest peak of the cross is called Great Giewont, is 1894 m high.

Three Crowns is the highest peak of the Pieniny. Three Crowns is one of the most attractive tourist destinations in the Pieniny, and the view of Okrąglicy precipice falling 500 meters into the valley of the Dunajec. Three Crowns is the most popular place in the Pieniny. Every year a lot of tourists travel along the routes leading to the summit.

Zywiec Beskid is the largest and most populated area in Poland by the Highlanders. Cultural forms and traditions contain elements of Slavic culture, Hungarian, Italian, Romanian, Roma and others. Żywieckie lake known throughout the country due to its unique location and excellent sailing conditions.
