6051 2007 Signed Royal City SyrahThis 2007 Royal City Syrah Stone Ridge Vineyard Magnum is a true masterpiece and is signed specially for Jungle Party by its winemaker, Charles Smith. Rated a 99 by Robert Parker, this vintage is inky purple/black in color, and deals out aromas of mineral, truffle, espresso, licorice, lavender, incense and blueberry. Super complex, smooth and debonair on the palate, this is a lengthy, concentrated, impeccably balanced Syrah that will benefit from a decade of cellaring but is almost too addictive to resist now. Those with willpower who are able to delay gratification will be well rewarded for cellaring this beauty for a decade or more.
