Defensive Handgun several members took advantage of the no-cost orientation session on Sept.18th at the pistol range. Instructor “Cruz” and assistants helped students fairly new to handguns, learn many key basics and fundamentals.“I completely enjoyed it. Liked getting different suggestions from different trainers. Feeling much more confident. Cruz made the whole experience informative & fun.” Member, Diane C“I’ve been to a lot of different clubs to observe and shoot. But by taking Greg’s class at my age I have new respect and feel confident enough that I could protect my family. He’s not only a good instructor but he is a great teacher. Everyone should take his classes. I don’t care how much you think you know. You will learn more and the right way.” Board Member, Shirley TAlso, Cruz made another donation to the Club, adding to the gun vice he donated last month. The defensive shooting prop will add to the collection of training items that can augment training classes in the future. A big shout out to Cruz and the IG Team for a great day!Tactical Medicine Instructor Ian McDevit led a 2-hour evening “mini session” at the Clubhouse which also received excellent reviews. These students now have very practical skills and knowledge to handle traumatic medical emergencies. Our thanks to Ian!
