About the Course

Photoshop essentials will cover Photoshop main tools to manipulate photos, enhance photos, create art photography and produce simple design as well as typography design.

After this course students will be able to:

•Understand Photoshop workspace (Tool box, Layer panels, Colour panel, Swatches, styles, Paths and top menu option bar)

•Identify appropriate tools (Move tool,Selection tool, Pen tool, foreground and background colour, Selection tools, clone tools, gradient tool, paint bucket tool, shapes and type tool)

•Create a new document and apply appropriate settings(document size, purpose of document, background set-up and applying appropriate resolu-tion size)

Identify various image formats(Vectors, Bitmaps,JPEG,PDF,GIF and PSD)

•Work with various images(Open various images, transferring from one canvas to another and placing images in a single
