I think that there are three pictures and layers together, the balls the person and the background is all different layers and pictures, if I was guessing the goal keeper is probably crashing onto a crash mat.

The footballs are all on different layers and going into the person when he is trying to save them going into the nets, I really like the effect of how there are many balls that are going into him.

There are many layers from this image and I think that the main layers in this image is the background with out the person and then the footballs shooting into the person.

I like this image because of the effects the artist has created, I especially enjoy looking at the effects made from the footballs shooting in different directions.

The artist has made the person very high up in perspectives making the artist look like he had shot this in very high perspective. The goalkeeper is very confident and diving straight in to save the goals so I’m sure there is another shot taken with a crash matt,

The balls are probably added into the photograph right in the end with a lot of layers depending on how many footballs are in the image, but what I can image is that all the footballs are added in single layers.

I think the most interesting part in the image and caught my eyes were the footballs, the picture looks completely frozen and that is what interests me.

This image stands out to be because it looks realistic in a way but I can see in my own eyes that this image is made from Photoshop and that many layers have been used to make this photograph.

The two different person have been layered on to the image one by one and last of all the image. I think that the artist had try to make the photograph more dramatic by taking it on top of high buildings to build tension.

I really like the way that the guy is being pulled by the lady and she looks like she is balancing on him , Lei Wei the artist has also got face emotion on his face which makes the photograph more realistic.

Through artist research I have actually found out that the lady in the picture is Lei Wei’s wife and they work together in a lot of Lei Wei’s work, I think that this makes it easy as they have a close relationship.

Again Lei Wei was probably posing then falling straight onto a crash matt which would have been edited and just left with him floating in the sky after editing then bringing the lady to his legs to make her look like she’s throwing him off the building.

I really like this image for several reasons, he looks like he is growing out of himself, I have actually done something like this myself and this is the reason why I think its so interesting me and the reason why it interests me.

From my own feelings and what I think of the image I feel that the artist is trying to show emotion which is sad or lonely, the person looks like her is stuck in one place and unable to go anywhere which a half eaten donut besides him.

I think that there are not actually any layers in this and actually what the artist did was mask many layers on top of each other and then erase the outstanding parts from the image to make it look like the person is all in all one person but growing smaller.

I really like the contrast between the light and the darker green from the background, it gives it a nice contrast.

This image is made out of two images, the two images are the plain green background and also the person then layered together.

I really like this image because it looks and feels like a journey and gives the audience a mixed emotion, The artist has tried to gone for a more weird style and cutting out the body and the face out of the image.

I really like how the image is in Black and white so it gives it a cold feeling and that something is mystery or missing.

The fact that the person’s body is missing makes me think that it has to be edited and photo shopped is used.

I’m guessing that there are two pictures which make up this image and they are layered on together.

In my personal opinion I think that it is very hard to do something like this and to edit something like this as it has to be perfect after editing to not spot any mistakes.

The weird thing about this image is that the person is holding an umbrella but actually there is no rain and there is nothing to shield or protect.

I think the most interesting thing about this image is that the body parts are cut off and he is still walking forward , having the artist make the image black and white makes it look abnormal or strange.

I have chosen this image because of the work done of this image. Lei Wei has took many images in order to construct this image and I think that he has done a very good job.

Lei Wei has taken a photograph of many people and the masking them to the image one by one and making them look like there are all joint together to shoot them into the net.

From my own experience and feel I think that he had to take all different images and then masking them together. I like how everyone's different in emotion.

I really like how there is a sense of humour when he is shooing right into the net by others, but I think Lei Wei had done a very good job when editing.

This image again is a surreal piece.

I think that this image has a lot of layers due to how many stings and birds there are pulling on the tree.

All the birds and strings have been layered onto each other and I think it looks a lot more interesting depending on how many birds that are pulling the tree of the ground.

I like how the background is clear and it has been edited to make it look out of a dream and gives it a un realistic feel

I would of thought that the tree and the birds are on a different layer and all taken a different times but set on the image on a different angle.

I think that angle is very important in this image and the way the birds are pulling the tree, away from the ground.

Lei Wei was boron in 1970, in the city of Hubei, China. He is a contemporary artist from Beijing. His work often depicts him in apparently gravity defying situations. Lei Wei grew up as being a son of a farmer and had always wanted to become an artist and to carry on becoming an artist for the rest of his life. With his family support he was given the special privilege to study at a private arts school until he was tired of the school’s traditional teachings However, Li Wei’s struggle with art did not end early in his life and after school Li Wei came out to become his own artist and carried on to produce professional work.

Hugh Krestschmer is a Los Angeles native who grew up in a artistic family, he has discovered photography since the age of 13 and under the guidance of his father, he was a photo-instrumentation engineer for McDonnell Douglas during the Mercury through Apollo missions. Kretschmer has achieved singular success as an editorial and advertising photographer who creates imagery that applies to both art and commerce. He is represented by Trayler and Trayler in Europe for his commercial work.

Kevin Corrado is a surreal artist and went to school in Shintaro Atatsu school of design, BFA (on-going), Graphic design, Bridgeport Connecticut. Fine art photography workshop. He has won many awards through his design and photography and idea.

Sarolta Ban was born in 1982 in Budapest, Hungary. Originally she was a jewellery designer, Later she has discovered digital photo manipulation and it became her passion and her main activity. She’s enjoy using ordinary elements and by combining them, She hopes to show personality and feeling through her photographs.

New ideas and thinking process The location of my shoot, I have been wanting to do something that involves home equipment and something that I can do with private space. I have thought about using things that I can get hold of at home for example things we use daily for example; Sofa, Bed, Table.. ETC. I want to make it as interesting as I can but for location wise I feel that I would like to do it at home, I have decided doing this shoot at home because I’m in a private space and means that I can do more with more time to do it in and I can do the shoot at my own pace to ensure the photographs are taken with correct exposure and lighting. The other advantage of shooting at home is that I can find different props as I go so if I wanted to change last minute or things go wrong I have plenty of other choices.

Deciding what prop to use is perhaps the hardest thing that I will have to think about as there is so many I can choose from when it comes to using it for shooting, although I have decided on one, I have decided using the Sofa because I feel that it gives maximum space and the ability for my model to move around, there are also other things that I could use but for now I have fixed my idea on using a sofa as I think that it best suites what I want to do, this could be a learning curve for me as if this doesn't succeed I will have to move on to another idea but I’m almost happy that I can do this and I feel I have the confidence to complete this project.

The weather and the time of my shoot, this is a difficult one as I need enough light into my photography, I have decided to shoot in the afternoon where its turning into the evening, I have chosen this time because then I can turn on the lights and the lamps to add in more prop and an evening shot is interesting which also challenges me to taking photographs with the right lighting and the right adjustments on the camera. This may change as time goes by but for now I would like to stick with this idea.

I will be shooting with a Nikon D3000, A tripod, and shooting with Camera settings for example; Shutter Speed: 1/125 Aperture; F4, Lens; Standard 18-55, Focus Mode: Single mode, Auto Focus, White Balance; Dependent on the present light source, ISO 100. These camera settings are fixed but may be dependent if on the day off the shoot dependent on the light source and the effects I’m trying to achieve.

Texture and color contrast, I want to have a fixed idea about what my model will wear, as I’m aware of what the home wall color is I would like a contrast, the contrast may be black against white or a really bright color against the white but again this is dependent to the day of the shoot. Contrast is important in a photograph and the texture will be simple, but having texture on pillows and the sofa cover may be helpful in this context.

As the model is a important part of the photograph I would ask for make up to be used for the photograph, this way people can concentrate on the model as well as the whole photograph, I really like it when the model has make up on and looks presentable for the photography, it makes the overall photograph much more interesting. The clothing I would like something that is plain colored but something that is well fitted and fitted.

Ideas on my final piece I really like something that hasn’t been done before, I like to challenge myself to something that I may be able to get help when manipulating but I will know that I will face problems, however I would like to give it a go, As I feel that it would work and that it would be a bit more interesting than doing something simpler. Through my thinking process I have undergone numerous changes in ideas but I have a few that I would like to note down so I have a clear list when its time for me to decide on what I want. I have thought about using a bed and then my model hovering over it, I have thought about using a sofa and have my model being sucked in like a hoover, my final idea is hovering in the middle of the dining room on top of the dining table, all of these are ideas which have been thought through and I think I could manage. Lots of these ideas are also related Levitation Photography which we had learned as a tutorial when Photo Manipulation was first introduced to us.

It has actually taken me a very long time to determine which one I wanted to use, when I began thinking I thought it was best to keep things simple but I have always had the flare to challenge myself and to make the photograph more interesting, so after further thoughts I have decided to go with the idea on my model being sucked into the sofa like a hoover, there are several reasons why I have chosen this idea over the others. Here is why; I wanted to challenge myself to something harder, I think It may be a bit more interesting and attractive photograph, I also think that I will have more to do in the time given so I’m not wasting my time to create something from the ordinary.

I’m also thinking weather I should shoot the photographs in another room as the other rooms offers better lighting, but over different advantages and disadvantages I feel that shooting in the living room is the best for me and for me to produce my final piece. The Living room offers good space and also space for movement and action which the other few rooms were not as practical as the living room. At the same time when the lights come on in the living room it is much brighter than the rooms such as the bedrooms study rooms and also play rooms, so I prefer to do the shoot in the living room where I will get enough light for the photographs to be well lit. At the same time it may take me a while to workout the correct settings depending on the night and the lights I will be turning on, I have plenty of choices which lead me to plenty of results and plenty to edit until I’m happy with the final product.

When talking about the rooms and ideas I will also have to think about the equipment and the technique I will be using, I will be planning to take shots from and off the tripod, As there is advantages and disadvantage of using a tripod, when I’m not using the trip[od I can shoot from all directions and different perspectives but when I’m using the tripod I’m able to keep a stable shot and stop camera shake when setting the camera to a slow shutter speed such as 1/70-1/80 its best to use a tripod.

I would like facial expression on my model when she is modelling for the photographs, facial expressions is very important as it gives characteristics to the photograph, depending on the facial expressions she would offer I would like some being shocked, scared and even sad. These will all be captured and then chosen for edit when I edit the photographs on Photoshop. As she will be sucked into the sofa I would like a expression that shows shocked and even more if she can offer a specific emotion I’m after. I want to make this as realistic as I can when editing on Photoshop.

What I plan to see as a result In this project we will be encountering photo manipulation and I have decided to go for something a bit more wild

and interesting to take the risk and create something I’m unsure will work but I’m confident that if I take the right shots there will be plenty of space to play with the photographs and to see what I can do with them.

I will hope to end up as a photograph of a person being sucked into a sofa, I have decided on this theme and idea because I have found ideas online and wanted to see if I could create my own version of what was on the internet. I will do my photographs at home where I will use props such as a sofa, model and a lamp.

When I have taken the images I would like it to look like the model being sucked into the sofa, I really like facial emotion on the photographs, I think that facial emotion is very important as it makes the photograph more interesting, putting aside the facial emotion the movement for the model is also really important.

My sofa at home is white so I’m going to ask my model to wear black to give me a contrast on the sofa, I think that having a contrast may well make the photography realistic, the wall is white and also adds contrast to the photograph.

As a result I would really like good lighting during the shoot as I want my photography to be well lit, being well lit in a photograph is important, The lighting determines how much light goes into the photograph and how dark or how light its going to be.

I would like it if my model could best adjust themselves on the sofa for my shoot, this will mean that when I cut the model out to manipulate the image it would look a lot more realistic. I will spend a lot of time during the shoot to check over and over again to make sure that they are the shots I want to achieve at the right position.

Here are other photographs that I have found during my research and that I really like and have taken some ideas from to create my final piece.

Shoot Planning I do not think that I have any problems with my ideas so far, I have thought about whether conditions and

lighting conditions, My idea is planned to be shot in doors so this would be a point of where I gain advantage, bypassing the weather and lighting conditions. I’m able to use artificial light and don’t even have to worry about weather conditions just yet.

I have thought about the different ideas I have had, planning to shoot, after a long think I have decided to use a Sofa as my prop and I’m going to include other props such as lamps and a coffee table.

I will hope to carry out my shoot on a sunny day, so I can do many different tricks and camera effects when taking the shoot. A really good day is an advantage when shooting because it gives me depth ad detail when shooting. During the shoot I plan to move equipments around to try and compose a perfect shot so I will have to find a time where I can get hold of an assistant and also at the same time move furniture around.

I will think about setting my camera on a tripod as this will ensure me that I will get a stable shot without any movement or blur. The only disadvantage of setting my camera on a tripod is that I won’t be able to compose and move around to compose the shot where as if I was holding the camera I would be able to take the image from all angles and perspective.

Using prop, I think that its interesting and wild if I was to include prop in my photograph instead of just using the sofa, I want to use a remote control pointing into the camera so I get great focus on the whole person and and the sofa slightly blurred.

As off the day of the shoot I would prefer to shoot during the afternoon, the the sun is going down, I prefer this time and the weather conditions because it will not be too bright and the light conditions would be perfect for the shot I hope to shoot the background with shadows with the window and the displays on the window seal, I have chosen my living room because lighting conditions are good and there is wide space for shooting.

I really like and shadow on my images, I think it’s a great way to capturing a powerful image, the shadows bring out depth and contrast, I feel by trying to shoot light and shadows I can make my photograph a lot more interesting.

Photographs Annotated-Photo Manipulation

This Photograph has been taken to my expectations, I like the facial expression and she is sarcastically scared and you can see that through my models face. The way she is leaning forward is perfect. Just what I wanted!

I like the way she is in center of the Sofa and the pillows on either side, the only thing I would say wasn’t so good is the lighting because it’s a bit to bright but I can fix that in Photoshop so its not a big worry at this stage.

I like the plain shot of the sofa and the pillows together it looks very simple but easy to look at, due to the lighting condition the flash was used so it looks over lighted but I can again fix that in Photoshop. This has a good composition on each side shooting at a low perspective.

Its not as simple as I thought it would be because there is a curtain and other home furniture used such as the two lamps the pillows and the lamps add texture which is a advantage.

She is in a good position for the photograph to be taken, her facial expression is crucial and in this photograph she has done a very good job, she is reaching out which when manipulating will make the photographs a lot more realistic.

I think that the two lamps gives off good light and helps with eh lighting conditions. I feel that using a tripod was a right thing to do because as shown the photo has no camera shake and nicely captured.

The lighting conditions in this photograph is not as bright and I think that this is better than the other photograph with a bit of changes made with Photoshop.

Again in this photograph she has shown crucial facial expression, I like her movement of her leaning forward and looking straight at the camera it gives a sense of realism and hopefully that pays off when my final product is completed.

This is a tightly cropped photograph, I have focused on her and put all the main focus on her which is good as when I cut her out I know she will be in full focus and not the pillows or anywhere else.

I don’t like this photograph because the model is not looking directly at the camera so its harder to see her facial expression, he legs are too high and when manipulating I will have a hard time blending the legs into the sofa.

Again if I was viewing this photograph as I whole it is not shot properly, the composition of the image is bad and its shot more to the left. It would be much better than it was centered and the model was leaning forward.

This photograph is well shot and I like it because its centered, Its got a nice focus on it and its simply just focused on the sofa. The two pillows on each side really add texture and color which is a advantage.

This photograph is in a good frame and good composition so I think that this is a good shot and may well be used for my final finished product. The curtains work really well with sofa.

Best images analysed

I really like this photo because of the facial expression and what is happening is she is leaning towards the camera and the camera has got straight focus on her which is helpful especially when finishing the final piece.

I think that the photo needs a good edit on Photoshop especially changing the levels to try and balance out the lighting and change it from being so dark to a brighter tone.

I have chosen this image to be my best image because mainly of her facial expression, flicking through all the other photos this one stands out and this is because of the expression it brings character and rea live sense to the image.

I have also chosen this image because it’s the one in focus out of all the others. The only negative thing is when I’m cutting her out I will have to be very careful not to cut additional things such as the sofa except my model which can be tricky and may take time.

This is a beautifully taken image from my living room, the reason why I have chosen this to be my best image is because of the composition and the perspectives I have shot it from, I got myself down low and shot up and great results I received, I really like this image.

As said in previous annotations, the only thing there is to work on is the basic lighting and to dim it down in Photoshop, but that’s not a worry for me, I like the texture from the curtains and the cushions and this is the only photograph that show texture.

I need to crop this image in Photoshop as its not level on the bottom but that’s the only thing apart from lighting. I think without using the tripod it can also give me goof results which I'm very happy with.

I think I have done the right thing to of zoom in instead of taking the photo and then cropping in as it would make the photograph smaller and that’s not I want so in that sense I had made the right decisions to zoom in.

Shoot Evaluation

The shoot went as planned and I was happy with everything that happened, My intensions for this shoot is to come out with a series of photographs taken and then manipulated to finish with a final product. I was aiming to shoot photographs with facial expressions and also sarcastic movement which can be made realistic through Photoshop and overall give a better outcome. Through the shoot, I have been using the rules of photography such as finding compositions, Rule of Thirds and correct use of the lighting indoor and outdoor, my intensions was to shoot a series of shots but not been fixed on where I could carry out these shots, I have then decided that I would shoot indoors as I have more space and I would have more room for movement if I needed to model to do movement shots which even if I didn’t need is still an advantage.

I intended to do what I did by making notes as I went and even before I went to do the shoot, notes help me a lot when having a shoot as it reminds me of the important keys of photography and what no to do when shooting, this way I can always remind myself to do the best that I can, I had changed my intensions a bit when It came to the shot because I had changed the camera settings due to the present light readings and condition. Time management in a project like this is very important as everything has to be done in a sort space of time and I thought I did that very well and not had to much problem dealing with time and having to spend large amounts of time catching up with work. I also intended to do what I did by making sure I followed the shoot plan, it is ever so important to follow a shoot plan as it allows you to stay focused and always shoot with concentration knowing what you have to capture before even starting.

My ideas have not changed at all through the shoot as I followed the shoot plan and I think that its very important to do so, its important to follow the shoot plan as it should have all the information of what your trying to do and to remind you on the day if you ever forget something or unsure about aspects of the shoot. I have also not changed my ideas because I have thought it through when planning so when I was shooting I was simply just concentrating on shooting and nothing else because that’s what I got to get right and at the time I had nothing in my head except guiding my model and of course doing the best I can.

I felt that it was the right decision that I made to shoot indoors as on the day it was raining and at the same time I have chosen indoors so I think that’s something I have done right in thinking about the weather and deciding to go outdoors or indoors, I found that shooting indoors had given me much more advantage to what I could achieve if I was outside. I had spacious room to move around which lead me to getting down on low angles and even weird perspectives. In that sense I think I’m very happy with my decision and I would not change it even know that I have taken the shots and looked through them.

I think that even I was very happy with the shoot I carried out there are still a lot of things to improve on and these are minor things but things that if I did right could dramatically make my photographs more interesting and attractive to the audience. Things like rule of thirds I thought I could do better just by framing what I need instead of shooting everything and then cropping it in Photoshop. I also think I need to be much more fluent with the controls on the camera so next time I do I shoot I know straight away what camera settings I need instead of hesitating on the spot and keep trying until I’m happy with it.

The Problem I faced Through this project of Manipulating projects, I have found different problems I had to face through the task and to me this is an advantage and a way of improving myself for taking on future projects, I think that through this project my weakness was that I did not do my research thoroughly enough to of completely complete the task without failure, in a way I’m that I have made mistakes so I can learn from them for projects ahead. The main trouble I had was when I started editing, I had the immediate problem of not knowing how to edit the photographs and not able to find tutorials which lead me to one direction to change plans and go for something I was confident in and was able to pull of a good photo manipulation.

I have found myself sometimes not knowing what to do when I’m stuck and getting a bad temper when working towards manipulating the photographs, this is one thing that I feel I have to improve if I was to take any larger projects. Projects come in different levels and if I was to get a bad temper through each one I would not succeed and get the result I would like to hear. I think that this project has helped me a lot in ways that I can improve myself, before through this project I had not been planning as much and at times I would not think things twice and think that all my ideas would be editable. But when I was completing this project I have found that this was not the case.

I have not deleted the work I have done before because I feel that this is a learning curve and that if I kept my previous work I can look back and know exactly where I went wrong from and try to think of ways to learn or over come those problems especially when it came to editing as I had no help and the only help I could retrieve was from the internet. I think that this project has not only given me things to think on nut also things to be happy about. I have shown good techniques in planning and good time management when dealing with projects and this is the kind of things I’m starting to see after completing each project. Time management and also good planning techniques are key elements when working towards finishing a project, I can now work on improving other things rather than having to worry about time management and the technique I use to drive myself through the projects.

I think that also when given work to do in class its important to do them straight away so then I can know that I will always be on the game and that I wont be behind and do everything up to date. While doing this project I have found myself not doing so well with keeping on task and keeping on track because most of the time I will drift off and not concentrate which again is one thing that I need to improve before going onto any large scale projects. Apart from this I think that everything went well and as far as things go I’m very happy with my attitude towards my work and my effort put in towards completing projects.

As far as planning concerns me I think I need to be a bit more detailed next time and make sure I have everything well planned before going with an idea, As to projects there are lots of things to research and plan so its important to cover everything. When planning I always need to think of disadvantages and advantages so I can mark out the slightest problems I’m going to face and make sure that I can over come those problems when marking them out in planning. Through this project I have found weaknesses and of course I hope to improve off them and make every single piece of my work better in future projects. As said I really enjoyed this project and looking forward to more which can bring me challenges and new problems that I might be facing.

After the shoot I also made sure the first thing I did was to upload them on my computer and then back it up with an external hard drive, this is so important as if I was working with a client I would of blown my job away so this is definitely one thing I will take on to my other shoots and definitely getting into practice with especially when I'm close to working with clients.

Overall it was a good shoot and I would take away all the things I could improve on to make my next shoot even better, through shoot practice and shoots for project I have found myself critiquing my own work a lot more and I think if I carry on like this I can be a much better photographer.

My new idea When my problems stuck I had to think of something new that I could do to cover up my mistakes and hopefully make it as good as my original piece, so instead of sitting there and not knowing what to do, I decided to move on and to go for a completely different idea which was much simpler for me and what I had more confidence in doing and I thought had as much flare as the other one. So I began to think what I could do, My first idea came back from what we had learned from the beginning even before we had given this project to complete, we have learned about photo manipulation and I quick tutorial on Levitation photography which I began thinking off and maybe I can base my final piece on the basis of levitation photography. I have gone back to my photo library where I had kept all my images that I take recently and began looking for a background which I could use for my background, for me to cut out myself and drag it on top of the background on Photoshop, I’m not very good at Photoshop so this idea was just perfect, something far simpler from my first idea and I though it was still interesting so I decided to give it a go. Soon after deciding on Levitation photography I have found a photograph which I thought might work so I had decided to edit a couple of images and see what I could do with them and play with the levels, Exposure, and other tools. After going through numbers of changes I have found an image which I thought was good and I could use it as my background. I had shot this recently at a forest named New forest’ where the area was clean and it was just a very nice location for me to photograph. I still remember the reason I took the image was because of the dark sky it gave good contrast and I had good composition.

In Photoshop I began to edit the photograph, I have used numerous tools to make the photograph interesting, such as the; Burn tool, the Dodge Tool and also the levels and played with Black and White to see what it looked liked. I really liked my final edit and decided that it was the image that I wanted to use. I felt that the image had flare and had a certain characteristics, I began to save the image and moved on to add a little bit more edit on the photograph. Eventually I came to a conclusion that I would use my first image as I liked it.

After sorting that out I had to find a model/person to be in the photograph to make it look like that person was levitating. I began to flick through and again I had found one that I had taken myself in the studio and thought I would use it to complete my final piece as it was fit for purpose and I though would go well to complete my levitation image. I began to change little things like the color balance and the lighting but soon I was moving onto cutting the model out in this case myself. I used the quick selection tool and slowly cut of myself from the image. I had to make the brush smaller and bigger all the time to make it almost perfect so it was only me that was cut out and nothing else.

When I thought that it was properly cut out and I was happy with it, I continued on and then dragged the cut out image onto the background, in the beginning it was unreal as anything so again I made numerous changes playing with black and white to try and make it match the background color/tone. Soon I had completed that and I was really happy with my work. I finally found that simple was a way of doing something when your in a difficult situation. I finished off by burning some of the ground to make it look like there is a shadow in the ground., I was something that I learned through problems that I chose to do something simpler and actually succeeded. Although I found challenges I thought I tackled them really well throughout the project to drive myself to finish the project.

Here is my finished Levitation Photograph, I think that I have done a very good job and that it has worked and looks realistic, as said before doing has project has made me think twice through the choices and I have chose to gone the hard way and met a problem that I didn’t know how to tackle, although there was a tackle, I got myself together and produced a nice photo which looks realistic and completed within the project due date. In my Final piece I have add myself that I took from the studio and then on to another photograph that I took recently and turned both photographs into black and white so it looks like the go together, I have also added shadow on the ground to add realistic feels of me levitating from the ground. Other than that I have also added burns to the trees and to the sky to make the photograph mysterious.

When manipulating I think I have worked a lot of placing myself on the background image, At times I thought it was to high and at times I thought it was too low so decided to put it low to the ground to cast the slight shadows and hoped for the best to look realistic, it looks realistic and I’m very happy with my final product produced.

Things that I might of done differently will probably titling myself towards the ground a little bit more so it looks like I’m falling directly to the ground instead on levitating which can give someone a different take on the photograph. The things that I really like about the photograph would be the sky and the composition of the background image with something on both sides and then myself levitating in the middle which to me is bang on perfect.

I have chose this specific photograph because it gives off a certain characteristics almost like a mystery feeling, I like how I have shot this with the wild scenery and in the open where there is nobody except myself shooting into the distance.

I love the composition of the background image has to offer, I love photographs which are well composed and in this case this is a perfect example, trees on both sides and even more trees into the horizon, I love the depth of field and basically everything in the photo is focused.

Break down of my final Photo Manipulation The position of myself is perfect, it is just right it looks like I'm levitating in mid air, I think part of the reason being my two hands are out showing the force I’m trying to give off when levitating.

I could of improved up burning a bit more off the sky in, I think that it would be more interesting and even give off a different view for the audience, almost like I’m levitating but the weather is against me.

I’m happy with the final finish , I really like the way its so neat and I have not selected anything else except myself, I think I key there is to take time and make sure its done to the best of ,my ability.

As the arrows show myself is right in the low corner which I think is just in the right place. I didn’t want it to high or to low so it is in the perfect position. It looks as realistic as I wanted it to look and I'm very happy with this final piece of levitation photography.

Whole Project Evaluation As well as learning a new technique through Photoshop of manipulating photos I have also taught myself a lot,

Mainly I have taught myself that when shooting its important to back up work so you always have another copy incase the other one corrupts or gets lost. While concentrating on manipulating photos I have also improved in planning and on my shooting skills, I feel that there is a lot to take a way from this project to improve myself.

I have added a new skill to use in Photoshop and from this I can explore different elements of manipulating photographs and try out new techniques rather than using Levitation Photography all the time. Doing more projects mean that I get better at evaluating my work and through this project I think that I have done that a lot better than projects I have completed previously.

I have taught myself something that I should always take with me with whatever I do and that is not to jump the gun and jump to conclusion. I have made a big mistake in this project but I think that it is part of learning and I’m happy that I made this mistake as long as I don’t make it again. It’s been a though time trying to think of a new idea and at times I felt like giving up but I have learn more than I thought I would do by making one mistake. I learn to carry on throughout the hardest times and not to give up and have some confidence when facing a problem or anything it may be when dealing with a project.

The one thing I did really well and that I will keep doing is the confidence I have given myself to drive through the project and get it finished before the due date, I had no concerns when doing this project and this is one thing I want to take away with me from this project, face things with a positive attitude. I have never thought that I would get bad grades because I slipped, I just carried on to do the best I can and hope for the best. When shooting I have sometimes messed up when setting camera settings but again I followed and looked back at my notes and there is was all the information I need, I next time I get stuck I know I need to look for notes and reminder and not go of track.

The other thing I learned was to back up work, I think that this is so important because it has happened to me before where I lost my work and ended up not able to retrieve any of it. However mentioning this I had done a really good job during this project backing up my work and having a spare copy incase anything happens. I also thought about having more than one SD card so I was outdoor in the wild like the forest having a spare SD card will be a really good idea as through this project my SD card has corrupted a few times and I had to use a different card to keep carrying on with my project.

Overall I think that my experience through this project has been amazing and I have learn a lot through this project. I have found personal weaknesses and also strong points and at the same time I’m also looking forward to more projects and challenges in the future. This project has given me a busy few weeks but I’m glad its over. I’m overall happy with my performance and to complete this project in a short time frame.
