Terms and Conditions
BookingsA 10% deposit of the quoted function value will be required to confirm your booking Unless a client has an existing account or by other arrangement, an event will not be considered booked unless the deposit is paid. If the deposit is not paid within 7 days of the booking of the function, the Nobbies Centre reserves the right to cancel the booking.
CancellationAny event cancelled out side of 7days notice will incur a $200.00 administration fee. In the event of the Function being cancelled within 7 days prior to the function, the Client shall lose their deposit and may be charged a fee of 50% of the estimated cost of the proposed function. In the event of the Function being cancelled within 2 days, full payment of the estimated total cost of the Function is to be made by the Client.
Final ConfirmationConfirmation of final numbers attending the function is required five (5) days prior to the event. Corporate clients are required to provide final numbers not less than three (3) days prior to the event. Should the final number of guests reduce by more than 10% of the original quoted amount, the Nobbies Centre reserves the right to requote the event.
PaymentFinal account balances must be settled at the conclusion of the function. Payments can be made using all major credit cards, Visa, Master Card, and American Express. Payments by cheque require prior approval. Accounts paid on credit card incur a fee of 2% on all charges for MasterCard or Visa. American Express incurs a 3% fee on all charges.
Hire and EquipmentThe client is responsible for all hire equipment arranged for an event, including all breakage and lost equipment. The Nobbies Centre will not be responsible for breakages and/or loss of any hire equipment.
BeveragesBeverages charged on a consumption basis will be billed at the conclusion of the event and payment will be required. All prices quoted on a consumption basis are estimates only and will vary for each event. Fixed price beverage packages will be quoted according to the duration of the event. In the event that an extension of time is required on the day, additional charges will apply on a pro-rata basis. If an event is concluded earlier than expected, no refund will be applicable for fixed price beverage packages
PricingPrices quoted are based on your stated number of guests.
MisconductThe Client, guests and any other person attending the function are financially responsible for any damage sustained during the course of the function. To the maximum extent of the law, the Nobbies Centre shall not be liable for the consequences of any misconduct, negligence, error, omission or forgetfulness on the part of The Client (or invitee) whatsoever, howsoever arising.The Nobbies Centre reserves the right to exclude or reject any person for misconduct from the function or the premises without liability or reason. The Nobbies Centre follows the Industries guidelines for Responsible Service of Alcohol. The Nobbies Centres’ policy is to serve guests in a responsible, friendly and professional manner. Staff members have strict instructions NOT to serve alcoholic beverages to guests under the age of 18 years, or to guests in a state of intoxication.
