While conducting traffic enforcement on W Indiana Ave, a blue Honda Civic was observed traveling east on W Indiana

Ave at what appeared to be an excessive speed. A check with stationary radar indicated the Honda was traveling at a

speed of 44 MPH on the 25 MPH roadway while passing Walnut St. A traffic stop was initiated and Alysha Greulich

was identified as the driver. Greulich apologized while stating she was not paying attention to the roadway. She

also showed me a citation issued by Officer Duran for the same infraction that occurred back in November 2011 .

Greulich was issued a citation for Speed Above Posted Limits 4511.21B2 ORC (MM) and given a court date of July 13,

While conducting traffic enforcement on Findlay St, a silver Ford F150 truck pulling a trailer was observed traveling at

what appeared to be an excessive speed. A check with stationary radar indicated the Ford was traveling at 44 MPH on

the 25 MPH roadway while passing Garfield Dr. A traffic stop was initiated and Mark Ryan was identified as the driver

of the truck. During the traffic stop it was observed that the trailer Ryan was pulling had an expired registration on it.

A check of Ohio registration, RE17WZ, did not come back on file through BMV but the sticker on the plate showed the

plate expired in May of 2005. Ryan stated the trailer belongs to his brother who removed the plate off of another trailer

and then placed it on this trailer. Ryan stated he knew the plate had expired long ago. Ryan was issued a citation

for Speed Above Posted Limits 4511.21B2 ORC (MM) and Expired Registration 4503.11 ORC (M4). Ryan was given a

court date of July 13, 2012 at 8:45 AM and released. The plate was removed from the trailer and logged into the

property room and the trailer was towed by Ray's Towing.Radar: PYT831001002Radar calibration check was

conducted at 4:15 PM and again immediately after the traffic stop.

SR 25 on W.Indiana Ave to Walnut St. were I stopped him. The driver was identified as Alan Mosley

Frederick. Frederick advised that he was looking for BMC on Eckel Rd. and that his GPS told him to go this way.

Communications received a complaint of a blue Dodge Ram with two subjects in the bed that had just exited the

interstate. I caught up with the truck on Three Meadows Dr after it had parked at Three Meadows Park and spoke with

the driver, Janet Goforth. She stated that both subjects were over the age of 16. Ms. Goforth was advised that that

only applies on roads with a speed limit of 35 MPH or less. Ms. Goforth stated she understood and would have the two

subjects leave with friends that were meeting them there.

I was stationary on SR 25 near the former Fort Meigs Hotel when I observed a gray Honda Accord

(OH-CKY9586) southbound in the left of SR 25 at what I estimated to be 60 mph. I activated laser unit UX014977 and it

displayed readings of 57 mph, 56 mph, and finally 55 mph from 406.9 feet. I stopped the Honda and identified the driver

as Sarah Pickett. When I asked Ms. Pickett if she was aware the speed limit was 40 mph she stated she was and

that she needed to be to work at 5:00pm. Ms. Pickett was issued a citation for Speed and given a mandatory court

date for July 10, 2012 at 5:00pm. Calibration checks were done at 1630 hours and 2050 hours.

Isaiah Rowe stated he found a note on his vehicle. The note stated they witnessed a white Ford F-150, with

a Mississippi registration of LU8283, back into his vehicle and leave the area. Mr. Rowe stated he parked his vehicle at

approximately 2100 hrs the night before and just found the note when he called. The F-150 was currently parked in a

parking space behind Mr. Rowe's vehicle. There was minor scratches to both vehicles and I photographed the damage.

The Mississippi registration came back to a business out of that state. I knocked on all the apartment doors in that

area but could not locate or find out who drives the vehicle. Investigation continues.

Dereck Miller was driving a black Chevy Cobalt on southbound IR475, entering IR75 north. Miller was in the far left

inside lane. A maroon/red Pontiac G6 was traveling to the right and a little in front of Miller. Miller stated the Pontiac

pulled into Miller's lane, braking and cutting him off. He stated he had no choice but to slam on his brakes and swerve

into the guardrail to the left to avoid having a collision with the Pontiac. The driver of the Pontiac, a white female with

brown hair, waived at Miller and continued on northbound IR75 without stopping. There was minor damage to the left

side of the Chevy caused by the guardrail face. Miller does not believe there was contact between the two vehicles.

I was parked at Frank School facing S at W South Boundary St. I observed a gray suv traveling W on W South

Boundary St at what appeared to be over the posted speed limit of 25 mph. I estimated the vehicle to be traveling at

about 40 mph. I used laser unit TS006433 to perform a speed check and found the vehicle to be traveling at 45 mph. I

initiated a traffic stop and advised the driver, Ms. Ruggiero, why I had stopped her. Ms. Ruggiero advised that she

forgot what the speed limit was after she had pulled out of the lot. Ms. Ruggiero was cited for speed.I had good

tracking, no interference, and a calibration check was done at about 1539 hrs.

A call was received about a large roll of paper in the roadway on N75 between US 20 and SR 795. I located the roll of

paper, estimated at over 100 pounds, North of SR 795. Given the size of the roll, its location in the center lane and

after witnessing several near misses with vehicles, I entered the roadway with my cruiser with its lights activated to

attempt to remove it. I observed traffic slowing behind me and then a white truck made an abrupt lane change from the

center lane to the left lane striking a car in the side. No one was injured in the crash and I was able to remove the

paper from the roadway and awaited for Rossford PD to arrive to investigate the accident.
