As the Vice President of the UA, I will strive to makeyour college experience as great as it can be. Over thepast year, I have overseen the creation of the CommonFunding Application as the UA Online ServicesCoordinator and crafted a $2 million budget as one of
three elected Budget Committee members. Mycampaign is about bringing the UA back to students. Ibelieve the best work the UA can do is the workstudents want to see. I want to channel theopportunities I've been given into a conduit through
which any student can have their voice heard andmake a difference. I will advocate for the myriadstudent groups with policy initiatives, but I also planto expand the position beyond working with studentleaders to reach out to students directly. Students arewhat make Penn special. It's time our ideas are heard.

Im Abe Sutton, and this past year I served as AcademicAffairs director on the UA. In my term I brought up thenumber of syllabi posted on PennInTouch andpartnered with student groups to recommend ways toincrease faculty diversity such as grossing-up. Ive
worked with the Penn Publications Cooperative toimprove Adobe InDesign access, with the Penn Societyfor International Development to make Penn among thefirst Universities to adopt a conflict mineral-free policy, and with Penn MSA to condemn profiling on the basis of
religious affiliation. But the best part of working onthese projects was the opportunity to both mentor othermembers and interact with students groups to find outwhat their goals were. It is for this reason that I amrunning for UA vice president, to work with studentgroups to promote collaboration and to create strongerties between the UA and student groups.

Hey College Students! My name is Joyce Kim and I amrunning for re-election for the Undergraduate Assembly. This past year on the UA, I was: Airport Shuttle ServicesCoordinator-remember those convenient, $5 shuttlesover Thanksgiving and Spring Break? Youre welcome. I
also passed the Drop Deadline Policy Resolution, whichencourages faculty to have a significant grade before thedrop deadline, that way you know where you stand inthe course. Im currently working on: increasing theamount of credit given for IB exams, separating thePass/Fail and Drop Deadlines, so you have more time to
decide whether you want to pass/fail a course, &expanding the amenities for the Communication withinthe Curriculum (CWiC) program. If elected next year: Iwill continue to work diligently on the above projects aswell as new ones, & of course, MOST importantlylisten

to transform the basement in one of the high rises intoa healthy mini-diner for students in the wee hours ofthe morning. It was a tremendous pleasure serving asyour new student representative and I would behonored to represent the Penn Community once again.

As a UA Representative, I want to say thank you to thePenn Community for giving me their trust in my ability topositively contribute to our student government. I have, since last fall, assumed the role of Co-Coordinator of theUA Airport Shuttles, introduced a discussion paper
outlining a plan for the improvement of the ShuttleProgram, openly defended the rights of Muslimstudents in front of the UA body in my sponsorship ofthe UA resolution condemningthe NYPDs racial-profiling of Muslim undergraduates at Penn, and
worked on a policy with President Amy Guttmann thatwould improve the social and academic life of Pennsundocumented student population. Now, with yourhelp, I am seeking to build on what I have already donefor Penn in seeking re-election and in promising thePenn student body that shall remain a fierce defender
of our rights and interests.Candidate forUA SAS Representative

There are many things that make Penn great. It wasbecause of the great possibilities this university hasoffered me that I decided to run for theUndergraduate Assembly to represent the College ofArts and Sciences. I did not come to this idea lightly. Iwanted to make sure that if I did this, I did it right. This past year I decided that I had to give back toPenn, a place that had given me so much. Weve allnoticed small things that could make our experiencebetter. My main plans for reform involve trying to help
groups maintain membership, beyond just theirexecutive boards, and making it so that outsidescholarships are no longer taken out of a studentsfinancial aid package. These are just two issues Ihope to address, issues that affect us all, and, as
such, issues that can be addressed together.Candidate forUA SAS Representative

To my fellow Quakers in the College,I am running to be your UA Rep so that your needs arebetter represented, whether they are of a social, academic, or housing nature. Having been anAssociate Member of the UA this year on the Student
Life Committee, I saw how many projects are stilluntouched, and how many initiatives are yet to beimplemented. Besides continuing to better enhancethe services offered by CAPS and Pottruck, XCAT, andthe Writing Center, I want to help make the PSG
transparent and accountable to students, while alsoresponsive to feedback and more welcoming for theopinion of unelected student leaders. I believe thatmore students should use the UA to meet their variousstudent-life needs, and I hope to change the way thatpeople interact with the UA so more individuals getinvolved. Cheers!

HI! I'm qualified to represent SAS in the UA because ofmy extracurricular involvement and experience inworking with with Penn administration and the UA. Asthe Political Chair of the United Minorities Council, Ihave had the honor of regularly attending University
Council meetings, through which I have gained acomprehensive understanding of how the diverse andmultilateral interests of our University interplay toshape policy. As an elected UA representative, I mayhave the duty to attend these meetings, and my prior
experience and familiarity will help facilitate thetransition for a newly elected General Assembly. As arepresentative of the UMC, I've also faithfully attendedUA Steering meetings, and have a good grasp of howthe UA works to affect change for you! I've seen what

I am proud to say that I am a member of the School ofArts and Sciences. Some may call us the School ofarts and crafts, the slytherins, but we are the best! Iam Anthony Cruz and I am running to be one of yourCollege UA Representatives. I have been fortunateenough to meet people of various races! I haveworked with the Latino and Jewish Communities. Infact, you can usually find me at Hillel talking to myJewish brethren. Do Wawa Dining Dollars and longerdining hours sound like familiar promises? That is
all rubbish. Some realistic proposals of mine are forholiday shuttle buses to 30th Street Station, aneffective way for Penn to communicate theircomplaints to the UA, environmental friendliness, and fair statements on behalf of all Penn

My experience with student government will make me aneffective representative on the Undergraduate Assembly nextyear. As a New Student Representative this year, I gainedvaluable insight regarding legislation and projectimplementation. I know how the system works--how to
effectively introduce new project ideas and policies. Iveworked with financial aid, academics, and admissions. Iwant to continue to address concerns regarding the outsidescholarship policy and revamping campus tours to giveprospective students a better picture of both Penn andPhiladelphia. I have also been involved with the Civic and
Philadelphia Engagement Committee, and Im committed toseeing Penn become even more connected with our WestPhiladelphia neighborhood. Many candidates run for campus leadership positions forseveral reasons. Reasons including improving theirresumes, making new friends, and occupying emptyspace in their schedules. Dont get me wrong, theseelements are definitely pluses. But for me, the primary
reason that I am running for the College Class Chair of2015 and Undergraduate Assembly Representative isbecause I am kind of obsessed with Penn. I love the widevariety of classes, the gorgeous architecture, and ofcourse, the students. The students of this university arebursting with excellent ideas for new projects and
initiatives; all you need is someone to help communicatethese ideas to the administration. I want to be thatsomeone. If elected, I will be your megaphone to getthese suggestions heard in an enthusiastic andtransparent manner. As a member of the UA, I will work to fix theproblems that I have noticed and those that havebeen pointed out to me. There is nowhere to get asnack while working late in the engineering
buildings, there is a lack of community within theengineering school, and the classes are weightedmore harshly in comparison to the other schools. While I have just listed these as problems, I alsolook at them as goals, things to fix. Some of these
goals are obviously more difficult to achieve thanothers, but none of them are unattainable, and allof them would greatly improve the academicenvironment of the engineering school. I want toleave my mark on SEAS by making these
improvements a reality.Candidate for

Many of you chose me last year to be your UA WhartonRep. Over the year, I have worked with many otherhardworking members to fully utilize the UAscapabilities. This year, I was fortunate to be on thebudget committee, working with various large groups
on campus to divide almost $2 million. By increasingSACs budget by 7.7%, we were able to funnel moremoney directly to you, the students, adding more utilityand funding for your student groups. I have helpedwith the initiation of the Dining Hall Advisory Board,
helping to voice your concerns to the admins. of Pennservices. I have also initiated plans to reform theoutdated funding guide, making it easier for studentgroups to find funding around campus. If re-elected, Iwill continue to keep your interests my TOP priority.

Hello Wharton juniors, my name is PJ Hobson but most ofyou affectionately know me as the kid who helps out yourcurve. Although my strengths may not include corporatevaluation or cluster analysis, I havent lost sight of the factthat most of the college experience occurs outside of the
classroom. For those of you that dont know, the classboards purpose is to provide social programming thatwill instill a sense of class and school spirit. Myexperiences with Penn Football and the Greek communityhave given me the resources necessary to fill your senioryear with memorable social events that you will carry with

Many candidates run for campus leadership positions forseveral reasons. Reasons including improving theirresumes, making new friends, and occupying emptyspace in their schedules. Dont get me wrong, theseelements are definitely pluses. But for me, the primaryreason that I am running for the College Class Chair of2015 and Undergraduate Assembly Representative isbecause I am kind of obsessed with Penn. I love the widevariety of classes, the gorgeous architecture, and ofcourse, the students. The students of this university arebursting with excellent ideas for new projects and

Hi! Im Angela Rice. Im the current Class of 2015Wharton Chair and am running for re-election. Duringour first semester, I realized how hard Whartoniteswork - perfecting projects in GSRs, researching in VanPelt, and studying everywhere. In light of this, and
keeping with our cherished work hard, play hardmotto, I am committed to making sure Whartoniteshave as much fun as they have schoolwork. This year,Class Board has maintained traditional events andstarted new ones. I have seen how Class Board worksand can use that experience to create and implementWharton-specific events and keep Wharton studentsinvolved with the Class of 2015 as a whole! Due to our schools small class size I have beenfortunate enough to better know most of you, myfellow classmates, however I look forward to meetingmany more of you regardless of whether I am electedor not. Our small class size enables me to understand
and realize the problems and conflicts we face duringour education. I recognize the lack of communicationbetween professors, the inefficient process of gettingcompliant, and the minimal study support that iseasily accessible. By electing me to our Class Chair youare unifying our classs voice in one confident andproactive person. I will work with our faculty to seethat our academic needs are met, I will collaboratewith my fellow class leaders to see that our socialneeds are met, and I will work in partnership with youto ensure that your needs are met.

I, Rachel Bernard, am proud and excited to be runningfor reelection as the Nursing Chair on Penn 2015 ClassBoard. It has been an honor serving on class board, anda privilege to bring you events like Econ Scream (CellularBiology Scream in our case,) Cram n Jam, Sugar Rush,
and the International Dinner. Weve followed Penntraditions, and also created our own. Needless to say, weve had an awesome freshman year thus far (and westill have FLING!). If reelected, I will continue workinghard with members of class board as well as fellownursing students to keep fostering relationships and
planning events that develop class unity. Nurses, YOUare my main priority, and it has been a privilegerepresenting you. If reelected, I promise that your voiceswill be heard; we may be small, but we have a lot tocontribute to the Penn Class of 2015! Candidate for
