SAC Activities Fair
Budget & Allocations Receive ~$1,000,000 to divide
between 200 student groups
Create a fair an consistent way to fund groups based on need, participation, and mission
Decide whether or not to grant SAC recognition to student groups
Provide support to groups through services such as the Student Activities Fair and Events @ Penn
How to joinSAC Exec is a nine member board
SAC Exec members are elected by the general body, which is made up of a representative from each SAC group
SAC Exec members must be on the board of a SAC recognized group and have completed one full year at Penn
What we’ve accomplishedCreated new budget guidelines
Implemented a moratorium on group recognition to stabilize budget situation
Reformed the plan to reduce student group debt
Worked to attain more space student groups can use at affordable prices

The speaker group brings two BIG names each semester and co-sponsors events with other groups
Hosts advance movie screenings and speakers from the film industry
Students are trained and paid to produce audio for large and small events on campus
SPEC to represent undergraduate minorities; hosts concerts and co-sponsors campus events
Produces concerts featuring up-and-coming indie artistsThemed events (Love Fest, Winter Fest) with cookie decorating, crafts and other fun stuff
Curates the Fox Art Gallery; sponsors museum trips; hosts Locust Walk Crafts Fair
One of the East Coast’s largest festivals with music, food, games and inflatables
Produces concerts each year, including the Spring Fling concert
