1. The attachment functionality for the PAS system is provided by a lightbar assembly
2. The PAS-Z requires a separate lightbar, the PAS-ZR has the lightbar built into the assembly
3. The lightbar also provides additional warning to the driver:
Innovating Safety. Powering Productivity.
1. Cap Lamp Tag:
1. Tag designed to be inserted into existing cap lamp (or provided as new)
2. Power taken from the cap lamp battery
3. The Cap Lamp Tag has an Inline Proximity Tag (IPT), that will provide an audible and visual indication for the user
2. Obstacle Tag:
1. Same as Tag functionality, but in a robust enclosure
2. Used for locating assets/obstacles/machines or providing to visiting vehicles
3. Provides the users of the PAS system warning to the assets/obstacles/machines

No No
1. Attachments
1. RF Bubble is set up around the PAS equipment (approx. 1m max)
2. The driver “attaches” his tag to the vehicle by pressing the tag button twice
3. No alarm will be generated by that machine for that tag (activity still recorded)
4. The driver will then not set off other vehicle alarms because he is attached to that vehicle
2. Linking
1. The PAS system can be linked to single or multiple vehicles (pre defined via the software)
2. Typical use is when one vehicle loading another or operating in close proximity
3. Performed when TAG is in the urgent zone
4. Driver links tags by tapping the a button the PAS Z & ZR
Innovating Safety. Powering Productivity.
Issuing Station Control & monitoring of tag allocation
23
1. The issuing station controls the issuing and returning of the PT-TAG’s allocated to staff and visitors.
2. The station monitors the number of tags in and out of the system, providing an automated electronic tally board.
3. All user details including tag test results are saved in a SQL database.
4. The user biometrics is captured at the terminal along with compulsory user details such as company ID, telephone and contact details etc.

performance
2. This is in addition to the PAS system having an internal start up procedure and fault diagnosis
3. The TAG Testing Station verifies all tag technologies are fully functional
1. Tag presented within approx. 0.5m
2. Simplistic Green Pass/Red Fail indication
4. Vehicle Testing Station provides:
1. After initial commissioning records Vehicle ID, Number of Sensors, Technologies
2. Vehicle passes close to check station for verification vs. past configuration
3. Simplistic Green Pass/Red Fail indication with unknown vehicles showing as yellow
