This Week At PLC
Outdoor Worship Service at PLC
On Sunday, July 30th, we will be having our annual Outdoor Worship at 9:30 am!
This year’s event will be held right here at PLC. Worship will be led by those who spent the week at Camp House. Come and hear about what a life changing event the time at Camp House is for both students and adults. After worship, you’re in-vited to stay and have a potluck lunch - hot dogs and chips will be provided and you’re asked to bring a salad or dessert to share. Spread the word, grab your lawn chair and plan to join us outside at PLC on July 30
th at 9:30 am.
Please Note: We will be at PLC again this year, not at Veteran’s Park.

You are invited to a baby shower for Pastor Adam and Kayla on Sunday July 30th. The shower will be held in the Fellowship Hall following the outdoor service. If you want a gift idea they are registered at Target, Shopko and Amazon, but I have it on good authority that diapers of all sizes are welcome! Oh, by the way, I’ve been told it’s a Girl! Come join in the fun as we get ready to welcome a new member to our church family.

Cash donations are vey much appreciated as well. We are also be collecting monetary donations for shoes. Thank you for helping students in our community get a great start for their next year of education.
Birthday Celebration
Please join us as we celebrate the 71st
anniversary of Hazelle Brady’s 29th
Birthday! Sunday, July 23rd
from 2-4 pm at the Koronis Manor dining room. No gifts please but if you want to bring a rose, we’ll see of we can reach 100 roses!!
iQuest Kitchen Leader
Each Wednesday evening we provide a meal for our iQuest kids and their families to enjoy before worship. We’ve been incredibly blessed with some great kitchen leaders the last several years but we’re again looking for someone to take on this leadership position. We’re grateful to have several people who assist from week-to-week but someone is needed to plan the menu, shop for supplies, lead the preparing of the meal, and help delegate volunteer roles. Should you be interested, please contact Pastor Adam for more information.
Church Remodeling Update
As you may have noticed the church remodeling project that we voted on in early May has now begun! The first area to receive attention is the sanctuary. Throughout the month of August there will be workers at church getting that space ready for our fall kickoff! As that area is completed the work will begin in the other parts of the church. The hope is that there will be as little disruption to the ministry of this congregation as possible. That being said some disruption to our normal routine is unavoidable. As the sanctuary is under renovation we will continue worship as usual in the Fellowship Hall. Our hope is that this will only need to be done for 4-6 weeks. Your patience and prayers are very much appreciated. We give thanks to all who have volunteer time and have given so graciously to make these renovations possible.
PLC Bridge
PLC Bridge is ready to start. If you signed up or want to sign up, please come to play on Tuesday, July 25 at 1:00 at church. We will be deciding on details like when we want to play in the future.
