    [REVISED SCHEDULE] We have made a procedural change in confirmation class. Instead of aConfirmation Lite summer school lecture style, we are now doing a Catechism 101 Lab sessioneach Sunday after church. Pastor Franke is kinda slow, but it didn't take him long to realize hisexpectations were unrealistic!!! Our plan now is to do one lesson a Sunday, reading the Bible passagesand answering the questions in class. Students will be expected to Memorize the Confirmation andBible verses assigned before the class session, but they will not have to fill in the work sheets. {Yea!Hurrah! Atta way to go!} Of course, this means we will continue until the lessons are completedaccording to the following revised schedule. {Boo! Hisss! No way!} But you will learn so much morethis way, and we will be through before Thanksgiving! {Well, OK. In that case, we can handle it.}

    We are also modifying our opening devotion so that class will be started sooner. We will just have anopening prayer instead of the responsive Psalm reading, Lord's Prayer, Creed, and Luther's Evening /Morning prayers.
