October 4th– Tony Munoz from Parsons Ks. A quilter since 1981, his program will be“One man’s viewpoint of the Quilt World”, a trunk show. Tony is a retired teacher

Hope everyone is as cool as possible with the summers hot weather. Wasn’t David and his wife Theresa full of

fun for our July meeting? His workshop was a blast. If your did not get to take it you missed a fun filled day.How great was it when we all got into our poker game? “Left-Center-Right. Congrats to Mary Butler on her bigwin of all the fabric we lost at poker. The Duwee’s said they had a great time at our guild and hope to come back

Corn Chip Snacks By Linda Paulson

1 cup sugar

1 (12 oz. pkg corn chips)

1 c. light corn syrup

6 (1 1/2 oz chocolate bars

1 c. creamy peanut butter

Combine sugar and corn syrup, mix well.Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove

from heat. Add peanut butter, stirring untilblended. Spread corn chips on a greased10x15" baking sheet.Pour the peanut buttermixture over the corn chips. Place the choco-late bars on the peanut butter mixture. Letstand until chocolate is melted. Spread thechocolate to form a thin layer. Let stand untilcool. Cut in bars or break into 1" pieces. Storein airtight container.

New Pattern For SeptemberCut background fabric 8 1/2”x 72” (may be any color fabric 1/2 yard)

Cut bias strip 1 1/2” x 80” of green fabric. (1 fat quarter for fabric)

Take the biased strip place back sides together. PressDrape as a vine across the background fabric. SewCut edge of vine down with 1/4” seam. Press over Sew line using a slip stitch or button hole stitch.

Make yoyos for flowers using 1-6” circle and 3-4” circles. Arrange with 2 leaves.

Make 6 arrangements.

I will have patterns for raw edge appliqué in place of the yoyo flowers.
