Welcome to Sunset! We are grateful that you made the choice to gather here today with brothers and sisters in Christ to worship our Mighty God. Let’s all glorify God and encourage one another as we worship.
Last Sunday we welcomed several newcomers to Sunset. Johnny Whitehead is a former member of the West and Lincoln congre-gation here in Springfield and is already well known to many of
you. Give him a warm welcome. We also introduced Larry and Tana Snyder who recently moved from Kimberling City to Nixa. You will be blessed by getting to know this great couple! And please continue to pray for our brother, Bob Ortendahl, who came forward last week asking for prayers.
We are still hearing stories in the after-glow of this year’s camp out. Thanks again to all who participated and for those who helped make it happen again! Tonight we will be experiencing our Annual Youth Area Wide right here at Sunset. Once a month through 2017 our young people have traveled to other area congregations who host-ed the Area Wide Youth worship. Tonight it is our turn. Let’s be here to welcome all these visitors with open arms! Thanks to all who have volunteered to prepare food for tonight’s meal for these young people.
