1959 Surf launched.

1966 Lever's baby food, more new foods introduced; Taj Mahal tea launched.

1967 Hindustan Unilever Research Centre, opens in Mumbai.

1969 Rin bar launched; Bru coffee launched; Clinic shampoo launched.

1978 Fair & Lovely skin cream launched.

1988 Launch of Lipton Taaza tea.

1991 Surf Ultra detergent launched.

1996 HUL introduces branded atta; Surf Excel launched.

1998 Pond's India Ltd., merges with HUL. HUL acquires Lakme brand.

2002 HUL enters Ayurvedic health & beauty centre category with the Ayush range & Ayush Therapy Centres.

2003 Launch of Hindustan Lever Network;

2004 Launch of "Pureit" water purifiers

2007 Company name formally changed to Hindustan Unilever Limited

2008 HUL completes 75 years on 17th October 2008

program designed for aspiring sales and marketing graduates across various institutes in the country.

A Basic Stipend –Rs 3000 for 8 weeks

NOTE-Basic stipend will be paid subject to the following parameters:•100% attendance for all 8 weeks•Adherence to the calling sheet(no of calls made)

Incentives upto Rs 5000 per month(depends on purely sales target achievement)

THE STAR Program- Support from Institute

•Coordinate the online selection test- list of no of students,selection,single point contact on the program

•Organise the online test @ your campus on agreed date

•Organise the 1 /2 day training session@ your campus pre start for selected students or it will happen at 1 institute in a city.In that case ensure that the students are present at the location.

•Any other support as may be required

NOTE-Some institutes may also use this program for their internal grading & credits criteria
