1. Introductory SessionAt the beginning of mentoring, the

student needs to register with usand then gets a designatedProject Mentor (as per the

selected topic of the student).The mentor will interact with thestudent and inform them aboutthe overall mentoring structure

and give a complete overview oftentative approach in the

preparation of RAP.

2. Formal Mandatory MeetingsThe designated Project Mentorwill interact with the student at

different stages of preparation ofRAP as required by OBU.

These meetings help studentsprepare RAP per prescribed

standards of OBU. Themeetings also provide studentswith the opportunity to develop

their personal skills includingquestioning, listening and giving

a presentation.

3. Online PresentationThe student will be given an

opportunity to deliver apresentation on the project toProject Mentor in accordancewith OBU requirements. This

will be conducted entirely online.

4. Online Learning EnvironmentStudents can access learning

materials online through ourvirtual learning environment.

This includes access to a librarywith a range of materials that

aid in their research.

The Research and Analysis Project (RAP) is the final component ofthe BSc degree that the student prepares under the guidance of anOBU Registered Mentor. It consists of two separate documents:

v 7,500-word Research Report (RR), andv 2,000-word Skills and Learning Statement (SLS).

The student is also required to give a presentation of the project tohis/her project mentor.
