Founded in 1911, Franke was built on a foundation of precision engineering and traditional craftsmanship.

WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONSDuring the Warranty Period, Franke will either repair or replace defective components at no charge to the customer. Franke has the right to replace the defective Appliance with an Appliance of the same value if Franke determines that repairing the Appliance is not cost effective.

Where the Appliance is situated outside the normal servicing area of the Franke authorised technical service network, the purchaser is responsible for payment of the service agent’s travelling costs to the place of installation or repair. Franke is not liable for the cost of freight incurred as a result of the Appliance (or any part) being forwarded, collected or returned following repair. Such charges remain the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

Except as set out above and to the extent Franke may not lawfully exclude liability, Franke will not be liable for any loss or damage (including consequential, exemplary, punitive or incidental loss or damage) however caused, including negligence, which may be suffered or incurred or which may arise directly or indirectly from, or in connection with, the Appliance or any failure of or defect in the Appliance.

The benefits conferred by this warranty are in addition to all other rights and remedies a purchaser may have under any Commonwealth, State and/or Territory laws which cannot be lawfully excluded.

This Franke appliance (“Appliance”)is guaranteed against manufacturing defect for 2 years from the date of purchase “Warranty Period”.

To make a warranty claim, the purchaser must contact the Franke National technical service centre (03) 9700 9100. Proof of purchase is required showing details of the supplier, the date of purchase and the product identification number.

This warranty is only valid if the following conditions are met:

• The Appliance is only used for domestic use in Australia and New Zealand;

• The Appliance has been installed, operated and maintained in accordance with the operating instruction booklet provided with the Appliance;

• The appliance has been installed in accordance with all governing energy regulations;

• The defect, damage to or failure of the Appliance constitutes or arises from a manufacturing defect in the Appliance and is not:

(a) due to any repair, adjustment or other work performed by a person other than an authorised Franke technical service agent;

(b) due to the use of non-genuine parts;

(c) due to negligent operation of the Appliance;

(d) caused during shipping; or

(e) due to an event of force majeure, including
