PRESENTS

Our Latin percussion class is part technique, part music appreciation, and part

performance. Teachers will cover different styles including but not limited to bachata,

bossa nova, merengue, rumba, salsa, and samba, and the artists that popularized them.

Instruments covered will include congas, bongos, castanets, güiros, and shekeres.

Students will learn to play basic grooves in a group setting with other percussionists.
