Our GovernmentI live in the United States of America and according to our constitution, a presidential election is to be held every four years. Currently our President is Barack Obama and Vice President is Joe Biden. This is an election year, and this November they will be

running against Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. My friend Betsy Lavender (Aunt Phoebe) works for Vice President Biden and schedules all of his overnight accommodations. I

had the opportunity to have a private tour of Air Force Two when he was here in Texarkana this year. I am looking forward to the upcoming election.

SecurityThe security detail for the Vice

President included pat downs, metal detectors and canine units. There were also multiple vehicles used:

helicopters, police cars, and armored personnel vehicles. In addition some of

the Secret Service were visible , but most were not!
