Solemnity of Sts. Peter and Paul

Dear Parents and Guardians of Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu, Pax Christi! We thank you for the trust, support, and cooperation you have shown us these past few months. We recognize that in these uncertain times many of us are grappling with not just financial issues but also with anxiety for the future of our families. Our Finance Team, with our Board of Trustees, has reviewed and reflected on the Tuition and Miscellaneous Fees for School Year 2020-2021. In March 2020, our Board of Trustees approved a 4% increase for SY 2020-2021. But with this pandemic, we made a commitment that there would be no tuition fee increase. Furthermore, we substantially reduced some miscellaneous fees and even deleted others entirely. Our school has never been a profit-oriented institution. The bulk of our school’s expense is reserved for the wages of our personnel. We will be operating at a huge financial loss this coming school year. Despite the deficit, we will find various means to help our faculty and staff, including the janitors and security guards. Many of the guards and janitors will work on a reduced number of days, hence will receive a lesser salary. We once again humbly reiterate our appeal to those who can afford to voluntarily sponsor a partial/full scholarship for needy Ateneo Hearters. Your care and compassion during this pandemic will make a lasting difference.

Many might think that since learning will take place online, our faculty and staff will be working less since they will be at home. We can assure you that our faculty and staff have been working harder than ever to come up with an academic and formation program for online learning. Venturing into this new frontier has meant retooling our teachers with new skills. They’ve had to upgrade their software, hardware, and internet connectivity as now everything has to be done online. They have had to work double time to be able to design modules on a completely new platform.

Moving into online learning has also meant additional expenses for our school.

Upgrades in technological infrastructure, learning management system subscriptions, additional electronic equipment, and training for our faculty and staff are only some of the things we need to invest in. We continue to commit ourselves to this Jesuit educational mission amidst this pandemic because of our love and care for your sons and daughters. We hope that you will continue to support us as we venture into SY 2020-2021 with faith, hope and courage. God bless us all.

Step 2: FAMILY PROFILE and CHILD’S PROFILE

2.1) Login to your SHS-AdC Online Account

2.2) Indicate your relationship with the child.

2.3) Fill out profiles for the Father, the Mother, and the

Guardian (if applicable).

2.4) Fill out Home Address details and Other Information

2.5) From the Dashboard, select a child and fill out the

Child’s Profile.

For Applicants and Foreign Students,

you may upload scanned copies of

the required documents by clicking

on the folder or document.

Step 3: Assessment and Financial Information

3.1) From the Dashboard, select a child and click on Enrollment.

3.2) Choose your preferred Payment Scheme whether Annual

(Full Payment), Term/Semestral or Pay Light (6 Payments)

Term (3 Payments) for EEd to Grade 10; Semestral (2 Payments) for Grade 11 and Grade 12

Click Update to save your preferred Payment Scheme.

If you have more than one child, click on Dashboard and select

the next child to enroll (refer back to Step 2.5 up to Step 3.2).

From the Dashboard, click on the menu icon at the upper-

right corner of the screen and click on Financial Information

3.3) View the Account Summary of all Children

3.4) Click on Payment Options to view all possible ways to pay your

Tuition/Miscellaneous Fees.

3.5) Click on Attachments to upload Proof of Payment (e.g.

screenshot/scanned copy/picture of fund transfer, “send money”

transaction, machine-validated bills payment or deposit slip)

3.6) Please wait for a confirmation of your payment from the Finance

Office via email within 48 hours.

For online enrollment concerns, please email [email protected]

and attach a screenshot or photo of the page where you are having

problems.
