In order to increase our market share and expand our footprint in the MENA generics business, Tabuk Pharmaceuticals’ strategy focuses on both organic and inorganic growth. From an internal restructuring standpoint, Tabuk is working to increase efficiency and implement best practices in the areas of sales, marketing, human resources, and supply chain.

Leading business development and strategic marketing activities at Tabuk. High-level responsibilities include: company strategy contribution, new business opportunities identification and evaluation, Market share expansion, profitability margin increase, strategic marketing, portfolio selection, portfolio management, in and out licensing, patents and IP rights, due diligence and corporate promotion.

Managing the overall research and development activities and comply with the Health Authorities requirements for all products covering: formulation development, analytical development, scale up optimization, packaging technical specifications, technical transfer plans, Bioequivalence studies, CTD for SFDA Submission Driving Planning.
Regulatory Affairs
Driving the Regulatory Affairs work in Export Markets in Tabuk Pharma. Providing Oversight, Support and Guidance for the direction the company takes for presence in Export Markets. Oversees compliance and timing as well as defining and Paving the way for Products Approval (Obtaining and Maintaining Marketing Authorizations) by the correlated Health Authorities.

Probationary Period - Jordan
The probationary Period defined as a process or period in which a person's fitness, as for work or membership in a social group, is tested.
The new employees shall undergo a probationary period of not more than 90 calendar days from the start of their joining date with the company regardless if this is not specifically stated in his employment contract.
The concerned direct manager fills the probationary evaluation form 2 weeks before the expiry of 90 days in which he/she confirms weather the new comer to be appointed or not.
The employee has the right to resign before the expiry of 90 days without giving notice period.

Annual Performance Management
Is the process of reviewing and evaluating the performance of an employee, which is conducted annually or semi annually through a performance appraisal interview between the employee and his direct supervisor.

Needs Improvement (NI)Doesn't meet expectations, Requirements upgrading, the performance rating given to employees who fail to achieve expectations/goals or cannot demonstrate proficiency in the Competencies needed for the job.

Training and Development
Aiming to increase employees’ qualifications and skills to meet different job requirements and objective.
Aiming to increase employees’ capabilities in performing new duties and preparing them for higher responsibilities.

Training and Development Guidelines (1/2)
Annual Training budget for the whole company is part of the HR and Admin Department total budget; Training budget shall be set immediately after preparing the Training Plan for each year. The training budget shall be estimated by the cooperation between both the HR Staff and HR Management and approved by the Head of Company.
Training shall provide a link between employees, their performance and development plans to the achievement of Tabuk pharmaceuticals operational and strategic objectives and its commitment to continuous improvement and excellence.
Training should cover all Tabuk pharmaceuticals employees at all levels.
All direct supervisors in coordination with the HR and Admin Department shall prioritize the training needs of their subordinates on a yearly-basis.
All seminars, workshops and training program to be attended by any employee must be significantly related to the job and must be able to bring positive results to his work performance and the company as a whole.

Training and Development Guidelines (2/2)
Based on the performance appraisal results, the employee sends a request to attend a training course by selecting from the training catalogue.
The direct supervisor accepts or rejects the request, and it is sent to the HR Staff ;The direct supervisor can also request the training course on behalf of the employee, and the request is sent to the HR Staff.
The HR Staff prepares the Company Annual Training Plan by adding the required training courses based on the Performance Appraisal results and recommendations of the direct supervisor .

Nationalization
It is the process of attracting, preparing, developing and retaining national employees (according to the country of operation) at the company.

Working Days & Hours and Holidays - Jordan
Working Days shall be five days per week, Friday and Saturday shall be the official rest days.
Working day starts at 8:00 A.M and ends at 5:00 P.M. The break time is between 01:00 P.M and 1:30 P.M.
Working hours during Ramadan shall be announced one week before the start of Ramadan
Jordan Official Holidays : Feter Eid; Adha Eid; The Independence Day; New Year’s Day (Gregorian); New Year’s Day (Hijri): one day ; Christmas Day; Al Israa and Al Mirage Day; Labor Day; Prophet Mohammad Birthday

Annual Vacation: 14 days ; as per the minimum days mentioned in the labour law.
Sick leave : Maximum 14 paid days endorsed with a medical report.
Maternity Leave :10 weeks.
Examination Vacation : if the employee registered in an academic institution with a written approval from the HR manager and head of the department.

Hajj vacation: provided that the employee serves the company for more than five consecutive years and this vacation is valid for one time only during the service period of the employee.
Compassionate Leave: 3 days in case first degree relative’s death and One day in case Second degree relatives death.
Unpaid Leave: Should be approved from employee Department Head and the HR Director.

Formal business dress is the standard for this dress code; TPMC encourages employees to dress comfortable, with consideration given to maintaining a professional appearance, and because all comfortable clothing is not suitable for the office, these guidelines will help you determine what is appropriate to wear to work; Clothing that works well for the exercise sessions, and sports contests may not be appropriate for a professional appearance at work.

SHOUTING. Using all lowercase letters looks lazy . Use the blind copy (BCC ) and courtesy copy (CC ) appropriately . Don't use e-mail as an excuse to avoid personal contact . Don't send personal and private E-mails ; manage E-mails for business use
only .
