OPERATION TRUTH Dear Billesley resident ... Recently you may have received a leaflet from Birmingham City Council and the local police titled ‘Operation Mastiff’. This contemptible leaflet is full of lies, it slanders decent families who are well known and respected in the area of Billesley! Think for a moment how you would feel if a leaflet was posted around the area telling vile lies about your family and actually naming them. This is victimization and the British National Party would like to tell the people of Billesley the truth. Asbo’s have been issued to three members of the Jelley family on the basis of trumped up complaints and blatant lies. The Asbo dictates that three members of the Jelley family can not walk through Billesley at all, this means that they can not even visit their Grandmother who lives close by! When another family called Billesley police for an unrelated incident the first thing the police said was “is it the Jelley’s?” One Billesley police officer said to a young Jelley family member “You look like Dumbo”. Billesley Police are also intimidating young members of the family and other local youths by sticking their two fingers up at them. Bear in mind the Jelley family and local residents of Acocks Green raised £33,000 for Birmingham Children’s Hospital via auctions and collections! Mr Ronald Bagley, registered charity committee member for Birmingham Children’s Hospital said ... “Carl Jelley and the patrons of the Lady of Westminster pub have put their heart and soul into raising money for us. They are still raising money for us and we are very grateful”. If you are suffering intimidation from the local police, or the Council are treating you with contempt, please get in touch with the party that cares. OPERATIONTRUTH

Dear Billesley resident ...

Targeted most viciously by the leaflet are the Jelley, Phillips and Sarapuk families. Here is what local people and business owners had to say when we asked them for their views ...

A Ward Councillor of the Selly Oak Constituency“In the time I have known the Jelley’s they have always been helpful and courteous”.

Brian Lattimer - owner of Mitchells Butchers (Yardley Wood Road)“I totally disagree with what that leaflet said about the Jelley family. I have known the Jelley and Sarapuk families for twenty years and they are good people. Dean Jelley used to fix old peoples roofs for free when the local Councillors weren’t interested. Timothy Sarapuk used to arrange transport for elderly people around the area and never accepted any money for it”.

Mr Babar - Nisa local supermarket (Yardley Wood Road)“I have know the Jelley family for fifteen years. I get on with the local youth well, including the Jelley’s. Local youths organized by Carl Jelly painted over graffiti which had been sprayed on the shop shutter and all over the wall in the alley, they also cut back all the overgrown bushes, I know because I supplied the bags”.

Mr Deepak Kumar - Drinks Stop (Yardley Wood Road)“I have known the family for three years, there has been no trouble around here from the Jelley family, they have painted over graffiti which had been sprayed on our roller shutters”.

Owner of ADL Home Store (Trittiford Road)“The Sarapuk family have never caused any hassle, I have known the family a long time, they are good people”.

Local resident Brian Hammond“I have known the Jelley family for twelve years. They are kind and friendly neighbours. They always bring me round a Christmas dinner and young Joshua Jelley cuts my grass and helped fix my fence”.

Note: Joshua Jelley can no longer visit Mr Hammond due to his two year Asbo (sic).
