The ceremony was held on Thursday, De- cember 27, 2012 at 3.30pm in front of 150 family and friends. Presiding over the cer- emony was marriage cel- ebrant Amanda Knapton. Amanda, the daughter of Mark and Jane Tol- hurst of Wilberforce NSW, chose a beautiful Carla Zampatti bridal dress with a low back and floor length sash which was tied simply at the back. Her gown was com- plemented with drop pearl earrings and neck- lace, which were a gift from the mother of the bride. Amanda was sup- ported by her maid of ho- nour Corinne Lynch and bridesmaids Gabrielle Staniforth and Antonia Trumbull. The maid of honour and bridesmaids all wore silk maxi dresses in sum- mer pastel colours by Honey Beau. The bride and her bridesmaids all carried simplistic bouquets of gardenias and cream David Austin roses cre- ated by Floreat. Thomas, the son of Andrew and Janet Nor- ton-Knight of Forbes, was supported by his best man Huw Wardrope and groomsmen Reid Doyle and Michael Hicks. The men chose black tie dinner suits as their wedding ensembles. After the wedding guests enjoyed drinks on the lawn of the yacht club before being transferred by water taxi to ‘The Is- land Sydney’ – a floating open-air pontoon, moored at Farm Cove, Sydney Harbour – for an evening to remember. The local couple exchanged vows in front of family and friends during an outdoor cere- mony at Wheogo Park Forbes, on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 4pm. Samantha, the daughter of Michael and Gail Legg of Forbes, chose a white Crux gown from Emmimae Bridal and Formalwear of Forbes as her wedding dress. Complementing the gown was Samantha’s hair, which was done by Holly Eldridge and make-up by Kylie Spice. Samantha was supported by her maid of honour Ellora Brown and two bridesmaids Melissa Anastasiadis and Jes- sica Rankmore. All carried blue and white silk roses created by Gail Legg. Mathew, the son of Debbie Wilson of Forbes and Michael Rankmore of Wollongong, was assisted by best man Adam Crotty and groomsmen Andrew Anastasiadis and Nathan Brown. The flowergirl was Chelsea Rankmore. Following the ceremony, family and friends returned to the Forbes Inn for the wedding reception. The wedding cake, which was made by Heidi Brown, was a three-tier mud cake covered with white icing and featuring blue sashes. The couple exchanged vows on Saturday, Sep- tember 15, 2012 in front of family and friends be- fore returning to Forbes for their reception at the Forbes Sports and Recre- ation Club. Rikki-Lee is the daughter of Kim Ford and Lyn Ford, both of Forbes, while John is the son of Shirley and Nipper Hed- ditch, and Tooly Camp- bell. A strapless chiffon gown with a detailed beaded bodice was cho- sen by the bride. Maid of honour and sister of the bride Kar- leigh Ford, and brides- maids Melanie Borwell and Rebecca Downey wore long, one-shoulder pink chiffon dresses. The bride and her bridesmaids carried posy bouquets of pink lilies and white roses. John’s brother Kevin Hedditch filled the role of best man, while friends Stephen Lapthorn and Richard Keen were his groomsmen. The men chose black pin-stripe suits. Joining the bridal party were flowergirl Mackenzie Campbell and page boys Connor Walm- sley, Riley Walmsley and Aiden Campbell. Rikki-Lee and John honeymooned on the south coast of NSW be- fore returning to make their home in Forbes.
