How to Order

HOW TO ORDER

Orders Can be Taken by......email, via the website, letter, fax or phone. Please include product(s) required, date required by, delivery and invoice address and your contact details. For personalised and engraved items, please include layout and ALL engraving details. Standard items are held in stock - available for immediate delivery.

Artwork & LogosPlease send any artwork/logos electronically in PDF, EPS or JPEG format at a minimum of 300dpi or laser printed hard copies by post. DO NOT send artwork via the fax as it does not produce an image of suitable quality.

Delivery ChargesOrders will be sent via courier with smaller items sent via Royal Mail. Carriage charges are calculated by weight. NI, remote Scotland and UK offshore islands including the Channel Islands and Isle of Man will all incur a surcharge. Please see our website for full information.

Terms of Business - PricesWhilst every effort will be made to hold prices, any unavoidable increases will be notified at the time of ordering.

How to PayPayment terms are strictly 14 days from invoice date unless stated otherwise. For new accounts, we reserve the right to supply on a proforma basis. Payment can be made by cheque, major credit cards or directly into our Yorkshire Bank Account Number 43199924, Sort Code 05-05-63.

When paying by cheque, please make cheques payable to: Running Imp International Sports Ltd.

All prices exclude VAT (where applicable) and carriage.

Overdue AccountsWe reserve the right to charge interest at 8% over the Bank of England base rate on all late payments and recover any expenses incurred in the recovery of any debt.

Breakages and ClaimsClaims must be received in writing within 24 hours of receipt of goods. ALWAYS check the contents of your parcel(s) before signing the delivery note or sign UNCHECKED. We cannot accept responsibility for goods signed ‘in good condition’ if they are later found to be damaged.

TitleTitle, legal or beneficial to goods supplied, does not pass to the customer until payment has been made in full. All goods remain the property of Running Imp Ltd. until such payment is made. In the event of non-payment, the club, sponsor or individual in whose name the goods have been ordered will be liable for the settlement for the full amount. Q. Where are the medals manufactured?A. All our bespoke customised medals are manufactured in our partner factory in China, for the very best quality at effectively wholesale prices.

Q. I have heard that the medals can be produced and delivered in only 6 weeks or even less, is that correct?A. Yes, they can. Once you have ‘signed-off’ the artwork and approved your design it can take only 6 weeks (and sometimes less) to produce and deliver your medals if we use air freight.

Q. Is there a surcharge for the medals to be flown in?A. Yes there is a nominal charge. Depending on the size of medals and quantity, it can be less than 25p per medal. We will give you an exact quotation at the time of ordering if you require this express delivery service.

Q. Can I order bespoke medals without having to pay the express delivery air freight charge?A. Yes, if you are able to place your order further in advance and use our 12 week sea freight delivery.

Q. Does the 6 or 12 week production lead time include delivery to me?A. Yes.

Q. What if I receive more entries than anticipated, can I order a ‘last minute top-up’ to my medal order?A. Yes. We can produce a ‘top-up’ to your order within a lead time of 3-4 weeks.

Q. If I only have a rough sketch of my medal design, is that alright?A. No problem. Simply send us your guidelines with any logos (if any) you want incorporating and we will design the medal for you FREE of Charge! (see FREE Design Service below).

Q. I understand that you have different background stipple effects that I can incorporate into my design?A. Yes. We have a variety of background stipple effects that can be incorporated into your design (see Medal Options, p20). Simply quote the stipple effect number(s) on your mock-up or contact us for a FREE sample.

Q. How long will it take for me to receive artwork back from you for approval?A. Normally within 3 to 4 working days.

Q. When I have received my medal design back for approval, what if I require some changes?A. No problem, we will keep amending your design until you are completely happy with it!

Q. Will there be any charge for these amendments?A. Absolutely not.

Q. How do I work out my medal price?A. All prices shown are based on circular 3mm thick medals. For example, if your design is 50mm in diameter look in the 50mm column prices etc.

Q. What if my medals are rectangular?A. If the longest side is at least 20mm more than the shorter side, for example 60mm x 40mm, look under the 60mm prices, and if they are 50mm x 30mm look under the 50mm prices etc.

Q. How can I work out the price if my medals are not circular or rectangular?A. Simply send us a diagram showing us the shape and size of your required medal (it can be ANY shape including with cut-outs) and we will give you an exact quotation within 24 hours.

Q. Can my medals be thicker or thinner than 3mm?A. Yes. We can produce medals in any thickness from 2mm up to 20mm thick if required.

Q. How will this affect my price?A. As a general guideline please add 10% to our printed prices for every 1mm of additional medal thickness required. However, please contact us with your specific requirements and we will give you an exact quotation within 24 hours.

Q. Can I mix the medal finish colours (e.g. Antique Gold, Antique Silver, Antique Bronze etc.) within my order?A. Yes.

Q. Will there be any extra charge for this?A. No.

Q. How do I know how many dies I will be charged for?A. You will only be charged a die for each side that has a design.

Q. What if exactly the same design is on both sides of the medal?A. You will still be charged for 2 dies as we would have to make 2 dies to produce your design.

Q. What if my design has ‘cut-outs’?A. You will be charged 2 dies even if the reverse of your medal is plain, as a second die has to be produced to incorporate any cut-outs.

Q. Can I have printed ribbons?A. Yes. We can overprint your ribbons in a single colour or multicolour, please contact us for your specific requirements.

Q. Do you have any other optional extras for medals?A. Yes. We have a variety of optional extras that will further enhance your medals (see page 22).

The most popular custom lapel pin badge and the most economical to produce.

Like soft enamel pin badges but infilled with a powdered glass mixture which when fired in a kiln at a high temperature results in a highly polished bright shine.

We have 4 main styles of custom lapel pin badges to choose from, all are available in ANY shape, ANY size and with various finishes:• Soft Enamel • Photo Etched• Cloisonne • Brushed Metal

Pin Badge FittingsThe 2 most common types of lapel pin badge fittings are:

• Brooch attachment• Butterfly clutch attachment

Photographic images or gradients of colours are digitally printed onto a blank pin badge, then coated with a clear epoxy dome to protect the image and provide a smooth glossy finish.

These brushed metal pin badges show the raised areas carefully polished to contrast against the matt recessed sections.

Different FinishesWe can produce pin badges in a range of different platings. All these finishes are available at no extra cost, and a member of our team will be happy to discuss these options and recommend the perfect finish for your design.
