Albert Einstein College of Medicine (2010-2014) 2011 – Present Interviewed Pulmonary/Critical Care fellow candidates x 5 sessions annually 2013 – 2014 Associate Program Director, Montefiore/Einstein Pulmonary Fellowship 2011 – 2014 Scheduled the bi-weekly Einstein Pulmonary divisional conferences, which involved inviting outside

speakers, coordinating interdepartmental and interdivisional conferences, and ensuring that fellows have sufficient opportunities to present and topics covered satisfy ACGME requirements.

2011 – 2014 Started a research mentoring program for Einstein/Montefiore Pulmonary/Critical Care fellows, which included a formal lecture series and one-on-one mentoring. This resulted in our fellows winning 4/5 best research posters in an annual internal Department of Medicine research poster competition in 2014.

Comment #3: Has a vast amount of knowledge regarding current research and accepted guidelines regarding patient

managment protocol and therefore encouraged us to read more current advances when possible. As well, very organised

in managing residents and patients in making the ICU experience efficient and not tiring.

Comment #4: Outstanding attending. very approachable, encourages learning and goes the extra mile for the patients.

Comment #5: Dr. O'Donnell is great with regards to enforcing evidence based medicine in his daily rounds routine, his

manner of rounding and citing articles stimulates learning and reading; also aside from having good clinical skills he is

always questioning and encouraging possible research with a broad knowledge of how to interpret and apply medical

literature.
