Our staffattended the second Catholic Schools Center of ExcellenceSummit gathering for Mass, seminars, workshops andpresentations. What a joy to spend time with other Catholicschools as we grow professionally and spiritually. During thisMEA break we pray that your family enjoyed precious timetogether during the beautiful fall weather. Our 8th Gradestudents traveled to Washington D.C. during this break toexperience all of the history and wonder of our nation's capital.During their travels our staff and parents received manycompliments on their composure and behavior. We are proud ofour students and how well they represent our school. See a fewphotos, below.

This week, our staff has enjoyed meeting with you personallyduring our fall Parent and Teacher conferences. We arehonored to partner with you in the education of your child andinvite you to let us know of how best we can continue to partnerwith you.

Pleasebe sure to read your child's classroom newsletter for the specificdetails. Preschool students should wear their costumes toschool. Students in K-4 may bring their costumes to change intothem for the party. Kindergarten - be sure students can put ontheir costume over their clothes as students do not leave theroom to change. Students in 5th grade do not wear costumesbut will have a little party. We ask that you leave any weapons orinappropriate costumes at home. **Teachers need help to hosta party, so sign up on their links or email them directly!

An order form for Metro Dining Club (DMC) cards was sent hometoday with your youngest child. You can submit orders on the formalong with cash or a check written out to St. Michael and the orderswill be fi l led and sent home with your child. They are also availablefor purchase at the school office during regular school hours, 7:00a.m.-3:00 p.m. Each set offers you an opportunity to enjoy 2 for 1dining at 138 South of the River area restaurants. Each restaurant isoffering a prestigious card for their own restaurant. You and your
