I am fascinated with design. It harmonizes with humanity, culture, and
nature. Although I major in chemical engineering, I think of how I can combine my major with design. I hope I can contribute to industry of designing of my country in the future. Fortunately, I participated in the program “Island of World Citizen” and received a free ticket to Finland for the sake of my passion for design. I want to experience Finnish design because I am interested in how nature is realized in design and what drives the concept of Finnish design. I will try to discovery secret behinds the well-known Finnish design. Hope that
Taiwan become better by design as well as Finland.

Education and culture impact the concept of design of one country. I will start my observation with this two aspects. I will visit designers and visit art and design education organizations in order to find the answers to my questions.
