To assess current stress level of employees at store. To understand situations that causes stress. To be more knowledgeable about the techniques/methods to lower stress. To apply various stress reduction techniques to improve employee performance. To understand the physical, emotional and mental effect of stress.

Stress is the term often used to describe distress, fatigue and feelings of not being able to cope. The term stress has been derived from the Latin word stringer which means to draw tight. The term was used to refer the hardship, strain, adversity or affection. Stress is an integral part of natural fabric of life. It refers both to the circumstances that place physical or psychological demands on an individual and to the emotional reactions experiences in these situations. According to Dr. Hans Selye described stress as "The rate of all wear and tear caused by life."

Loss of interest in normal activities.AngerIncreased use of alcohol and drugsSadness and other symptoms of depressionFeeling powerless , Sleep problems ,Headaches.

Symptoms of StressCAUSES OF STRESSWork OverloadEmployee ConflictWrong Field Research Methodology is a way to systematically solve the research problem Research is common place refer to the search of knowledge. Research is an original contribution to the existing stage of knowledge, for making its advancement. The role of research in several fields of applied economics weather related to business or economy as a whole has greatly increased in modern times.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

DATA COLLECTION METHOD :- There are basically types of data present with the help of which a research work can be done. They are:-PRIMARY DATA Primary data are collected by the researcher himself and are original. In collecting primary data, a sufficient time and money are involved. Individuals are contacted from the field of investigation. Primary data are collected according to the need and problem of the researcher. Since the Primary data are collected by the researcher himself, hence no extra precautions are required.SECONDARY DATA Secondary data are not collected by the researcher and are not real . They are in existence priory and were collected by someone else or by any organization. As the secondary data are already in existence so no much money and time are involved here. Secondary data are collected by someone else but the present researcher makes use of them.

ANALYSIS METHOD:The analysis and the interpretation have been done using the questionnaire survey . Questionnaire filled by 50 adidas employees.

PRIMARY SOURCES: Questionnaire and Interaction

SECONDARY SOURCES: Websites and Previous Research

Statistic tool: Simple percentage analysis and tabulation is used to analyses the data. Pie chart and bar diagram is used to give pictorial representation of the analysis.

Research Area: Workers working at ADIDAS SHOWROOM IN JABALPUR , BHOPAL AND Jaipur.

Research Tools: Questionnaire and Interaction

Procedure of Data Collection: Personal Approach/ Online Survey

Sample Size: 50 adidas employees.Only 20% of employees found that the workplace is in a very crowdy place there is lot of disturbance.

During job rotation process there is huge work overload to the employees.

73% employees felt that standing on the shop floor for whole day causes them stress.

As per my analysis at Store employees were highly stressed & 27% of them didnt have enough time for their families.

Most of the employees at the store were untrained.

32% of the employees were not happy with the pay package.

63% of employees found their variable salary proper.

The hike in pay package is not in a proper sense

Because of improper pay package most of the employees were in indirectly under stress.FINDINGSExcessive pressure must not be exerted on employees to achieve the target which causes them stress and decreases the level of job performance.

There must be proper training process in store so that employees can easily access which each and every job when the job rotation takes place.

There must be a hike in pay package once in a while according to the ability, qualification, workload and experienced employees.

Performance must be evaluated properly by the key person and the employee must be promoted.

Training programs should be conducted from time to time so that an employee does not get bored from their job.

The conflicts between the employees must be resolved at the initial stage by the store management.

Store management should try and reduce the competition between the employees that causes them stress.

SUGGESTION

Stress is something that happens in our daily lives and is usually associated with a particular event such as work, family or other responsibilities.

Effective stress management is something that our lives can go little more smoothly stress management is as simple as taking a walk.

It has been proven that physical activities would improve a personss mental health, help with depression, and relieve the side effects of stress.

Employees at store were to much stressed with the job with heavy workload, so the employees expect some refreshing events to add up in their work place like entertainment, trips, tea breaks, intervals once in a while during lumps of work. Accordingly the employees expect hike in salary from their worth performance.
