Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Radio City Music Hall, NBC

Studio store, Grand Central Terminal, United Nations Building, 42nd

Street Deco architecture

Lunch, on own

11:30am Arrival at Pearl Studios

12:00pm Clinic with Judith Clurman at Pearl Studios as part of the National

Festival of the States (one hour) 1:15pm Q and A with Bakithi Kumalo at Pearl Studios as part of the National

Festival of the States (two hours)

3:30pm Q & A with Sarah Best at Pearl Studios as part of the National Festival

of the States (one hour)

Time permitting, continued sightseeing to include the Lincoln Center and

the Cathedral of St. John the Divine

5:00pm Evening dinner at La Mela

6:30pm Arrive at NYU Steinhardt for rehearsal

6:45-7:15pm

Attend part of Jazz Choir rehearsal with Ira Shankman at NYU as part

of the National Festival of the States

Check into the Hilton Woodcliff, NJ

Day 3 Friday, April 11 (B,D)

7-8:00am Breakfast at the hotel

8:00am Depart hotel

9:15am Arrival at Church For All Nations

9:30am Q and A with Tom Bahler at Church For All Nations as part of the

National Festival of the States

11:15-1:00pm Visit the Guggenheim Museum

Lunch, on own

Sightseeing includes High Line elevated park along the Hudson River

with public art and gardens, Chelsea galleries, market or SoHo

3:30pm Take a 1-hr narrated NYC Harbor Cruise to see Ellis Island and the

Statute of Liberty

5:30pm Evening dinner at Ben’s Deli

8:00pm Attend the Broadway Show Chicago

10:30pm Return to hotel for overnight

Day 4 Saturday, April 12 (B,D)

7-8:00am Breakfast at the hotel

8:15am Depart hotel

9:45am Arrival at Pearl Studios

“Improve your Improv” Master Class at Pearl Studios as part of the

National Festival of the States (90 minutes) Lunch, on own at Julliard Café

1:00pm Tour of Lincoln Center

Tour the Upper Westside including the Cathedral of St. John the Divine,

Harlem, Apollo Theatre, Grant’s Tomb, and Columbia University

Continue sightseeing of Central Park, Strawberry Fields, Bethesda

Fountain, Lincoln Center, and Time Warner Building

Evening dinner at a local restaurant

7:30pm Dinner and Show at Birdland 10:30pm Return to hotel for overnight

Day 5 Sunday, April 13 (B)

7-8:00am Breakfast at the hotel, followed by check-out

8:00am Depart hotel for sightseeing

9:00am Visit Top of the Rock

Additional sightseeing as time allows

Lunch, on own

1:30pm Visit the 9/11 Memorial

2:30pm Transfer to Newark Airport for your departure for home

5:29pm Depart on United Airlines Flight #482

8:12pm Late night arrival back into Phoenix, AZ

This is a very flexible itinerary. Except for confirmed appointments and performances, the

places of interest and the sequence of sightseeing might be changed if necessary or

desirable. In the event of an unavoidable conflict in the performance and the sightseeing

schedule, the concert schedule will prevail, and it may be necessary to exclude some

sightseeing activities
