Q: Can I use SCB-C31A in Main console as an IO converter from RS-485 to TCP/IP?

A: No, Main console will only use SCB-C31A-POS to connect to POS. For IO converter, Main console use SCB-C08 only

Q: Can I use SCB-C08 in NVRmini / Titan as an IO converter from RS-485 to USB?

A: No, SCB-C08 is not compatible with NVRmini / Titan at all

FAQ

Q: What’s the difference between SCB-C31A and SCB-C31A-POS?

A: SCB-C31A is used in NVRmini and Titan only and act as an IO converter, no need to activate POS license

SCB-C31A-POS can be used both in NVRmini / Titan and Main console as an RS-232 to TCP/IP converter and need to activate POS license

FAQ

Q: When use C08 do analog speed dome PTZ, what search tool to shall I use to find the parameters (PTZ protocol, ID address)

A:User need to config the rotate switch on camera directly.

Q: Why sometime the search tool can not find C24/26/28?

A: Please try to reset the IO box by:

1. Plug in, 12 up

2. Plug out, 1 down.

3. Plug in, 1 up 2 down.

Q: Why sometime the search tool show “Fail to detect on COM15” when the COM port number is large?

A: Please config the port to a smaller number ex: COM1~COM5.
