This recipe is from my
grandma. I love this
cake and it’s very easy
to make! You will
probably have all the
ingredients on your
pantry shelf today! I
call this “Easy
Chocolate Cake”. It
takes few ingredients
and is delicious.
Ingredients:
1 ½ cup of flour
1 cup of water
1 cup of sugar
6 Tbsp. of Crisco oil
3 Tbsp. of Coco
6 tsp. of vanilla
1 tsp. of baking soda
1 Tbsp. white vinegar
challenging enough to
want you to keep
coming back.
Instead of ducks to col-
lect, you will try and
get “ gnomes”,
remarkably. And the
bombs from last time?
They are replaced with
freeze and heat rays
that turn your water
Now, today we
will be reviewing
“Where's My Perry?”
which is a
tablet/Smartphone spin
off of “Where’s My
Water?”, I've had it for
a while and it is quite
entertaining. The levels
are ingenious and
into ice and steam. This
doesn't mean game
over. You need them on
some levels to get the
water to activate Perry's
tube to the base.
Good luck!

The App of the Month is the Halloween edition of “Where’s My Wa-ter?” with the new level called “10 days of Frankenweenie”. In-stead of rubber duckies, there are ZOMBIE rubber duckies and the main menu is black, white, and green. You really should get this app if you
don’t have it. It’s really, really fun!

WELCOME
(This article is my view point of Obama care and the laws he changed. It is also included with facts of the minimum wage law.) HELLO and welcome to the McCloskey School Newspa-per! This is the political section and will be from here on out. This may be late and you may already know this but President Obama was re-elected for a 2nd term. President Obama is a democrat. Although he has talked about how his Obama Care will help the country. The Obama care health plan is meant to do one thing; give govern-
ment money to those who are elderly and are retired. President Obama “improved” a law which raised the mini-mum wage for all em-ployees, which is good, but the minimum wage is so high that compa-nies can't keep the health care for their employees. The law states that the C.E.O. of a company MUST have health care for each and every employee while they are on the job. The issue is that the minimum wage is so high, that compa-nies have to drop em-
ployees due to the cost of health care, which means less people to pay tax money, and that means less money going to the govern-ment. Thank you for taking the time to read this and have a good day.
Dear Michelle, I have a problem with math. I just don’t un-derstand most of the work that we do. I want to stay for extra help, but I am afraid that people will think I’m stupid. I feel em-barrassed to stay. What should I do? From, Math-Stinks
Dear Math-stinks, If you have a prob-lem with math, just ask the teacher if you can stay after. I do get it can be embarrassing to stay after, so ask if you can stay on a different day than the nor-mal extra help day. Just remember,
everyone has problems with at least one sub-ject. Don’t be embarrassed .

Today we will be reviewing something en-tirely unrelated to video games. What I'm talking about is the book for which a new movie is coming out, The Hobbit. My parents made me read it, so I could watch the movie when it comes out. It is a very interest-ing book packed with adventures and action. I read from cover to cover, devouring it at every page. There are many twists and turns in
The Hobbit Review
the story along with sad-ness in the loss of char-acters.
Frisbee is a
fun sport to play
with your dog. All
you need is a soft
Frisbee and a dog.
Check with your vet
to make sure its okay
for dog to play Fris-
bee. Don’t en-
courage your dog to
jump off the ground
to catch it until he or
she is a year old.
You don’t want to
hurt their growing
bones.
Once you get
an okay from your
vet you are ready to
start. First, start by
Fun With Your Dog
having the dog sit next
to you and roll the
Frisbee so he or she
will chase it. Then call
the dog back to you
with the Frisbee in
their mouth and give
the dog a treat. This is
so they learn to bring
it back to you.
Once he or she
has mastered this you
can start throwing it
low and short. Until he
or she learns to catch
it. This might take a
while so be patient.
Once they get
this done you can add
different tricks and
longer throws and
higher, so then your
dog jumps and twists
in the air.
There are all
kinds of different
competitions for all
levels of ability. You
will have a lot of fun
and meet new
friends. It will create
a strong, loving bond
between you and
your dog.

WHEEL CHAIR BUDDY!!
Once upon a time
there was a little boy
named Johnny about the
age of 11 who had a trau-
matic car accident when
he was little and almost
died, and he has been in a
wheelchair ever since. He
comes to school in a su-
per Hi-Tech helicopter
which teleported him

right into the school.
One day the heli-
copter crashed right as it
was carrying him to
school. He was uncon-
scious until one day he
awoke to a boy who was
trying to wake him up,
and his name was Vini.
Later that day,
Johnny and Vini were
talking and found
out they had a lot in
common and became
friends. Since that
day Vini has been
helping Johnny
around to get to
places like school,
home etc… TO BE CONTINUED
weekend,” Mother re-
plies back.
Classic mom. She
finds something I love
and slowly pulls it out
of my life, one tug at a
time.
After a half hour of
working, I sit to rest.
My hand aches from
frosting the cupcakes.
Not having had even a
minute of resting, the
bell at the counter
rings. I stand up. It
rings again. I walk to
the door leading to the
café. It rings again. I
twist the knob. This
time it rings twice. I
yank open the door and
it reveals a lady with
five inch heels,
bleached blonde hair,
and flashy hoop ear-
rings.
“Skylar? That you?
Love the name. I’m
Dallas!” She speaks in
an accent that sounds
like its from Georgia.
It’s the same
I smear the blue
frosting on my apron
and stick the last cup-
cake in the box. Strug-
gling, I move the heavy
box to the counter.
“Your order is ready
at Skylar’s Cupcakes” I
politely speak into the
phone.
“Alright, honey,
thanks a bunch!” I have
to hold the phone away
from my ear a little
because the voice on
the other line is so
enthusiastically loud.
Saying goodbye and
hanging up, I’m
practically run over by
my mother.
“Oops, sorry. Big
order just came in! 30
more blue cupcakes!”
Mother says.
“Why is it always
blue ones?” I quietly
mumble.
“No attitude, Ariel,
or else no party this
enthusiastic voice I
heard on the phone
earlier.
“No, that’s my mom.
I’m Ariel. My mother
owns the shop, and I
work here. Nice to meet
you.”
“Oh! Well, Ariel is a
gorgeous name, too!”
“Thanks….. So the
cupcakes? Your order
of twelve blue beach
cupcakes are right
here,” I point to the
box. “I’ll carry it to
your car if you want.”
“Don’t be silly! I’ll
get it!”
I’m facing with my
back to Dallas when I
hear it. I had just
mumbled “Careful, it’s
heavy.” When I heard
her squeal. Then I
heard the crash.
I spin around and
can’t help but giggle.
