    vember already! Where has

the year gone? You can defi-

nitely feel the nip that’s been

    in the air lately—it’s heralding

    the coming of winter.

Before we get too deep into

winter though, we get to cele-

    brate a great family holiday

    this month...Thanksgiving.

    Some people may pause and

    reflect on missing family mem-

bers. If you are one of these

people, I urge you to give

    thanks for the time

    you had with them

    and then step out of

    your comfort zone

    and make some

    new family!

    I’ve been so

    blessed since ar-

    riving in Newark

just over two years ago. My

    family has increased tremen-

dously! I thank God for each

and everyone of you who have

    become part of my family.

    There’s always room for more!

I will praise the name of God with

song, And shall magnify Him with

    thanksgiving. Psalm 69:30

Why do we need YOUR help?

    The Salvation Army needs

    the support and help of

    the Licking County com-

    munity to make its Christ-

    mas Cheer Program a suc-

    cess. In 2016, The Salva-

    tion Army provided nearly

    850 families with food

    and gifts for the holiday

    season. We depend on

    the donations of food,

    clothing, toys and time

    from the generous Lick-

    ing County citizens to

    make our program suc-

    cessful.

    With the community’s

    help we can really make

    an impact. There are so

    many things to be done;

    will you please help us

    spread Christmas Cheer
