November 2012 As I type, we are still recovering from Hurricane Sandy in Philadelphia. My thoughts and well-wishes are with everyone, especially all those most affected in New Jersey and New York. My heart is truly heavy for all the small business owners on the beautiful shore points of Ocean City, Avalon, and Long Beach Island who I have the great fortune to consider dear and valued friends. I wish them all the best as they recover from the flooding and I sincerely wish they can reopen their doors in time for shoppers to support them this holiday season.

Speaking of small businesses, I believe Local Home + Gifts will still be open and ready for our planned Second Saturday celebration in Media, PA on Saturday, November 10th from 6-9 p.m.

Come join me at the beautiful Local Home + Gifts and enjoy a fun-filled evening in one of my favorite towns.
