Fuel line burst during refueling ops, 1 gal. diesel discharged; vsl placed boom and absorbent pads immediately. Letter of Warning issued for <1 gal diesel.

3 mystery drums reported on Sand Island near Cape D., WA. OSLTF opened for $1K and Cowlitz Clean Sweep hired for removal and disposal.

44’ wood F/V with 350+ gal diesel on board allides with “A” Jetty near Cape Disappointment, WA. Vsl sank, OSLTF opened for Ballard salvage ops. Minimal impact to environment as contractor recovered 350 gallons!

SUNKEN WORK BOAT, WILLAMETTE RIVERPortland, OR – June 9, 2015

Work boat sank, discharged 10 gallons gasoline into Willamette River. Vsl righted by Gunderson Marine & towed to Sauvie Island for removal. 10 gal gas discharged; LOW.

Sector Columbia River issued 13 Letters of Warning (down from 15 last RRT OSC Report) and 2 Notices of Violation (down from 7). However, Sector Columbia River “federalized” more (13 cases) during this time period than in the same period in 2014 (8).
