A Department of Education sponsored reviewer will examine the details of how our school is performing and determine a suggested course of action for us in the next three years. From this review we will formulate our strategic plan which is basically a business plan that will assist the school to move forward over this period. We will be assisted in our deliberations by two local principals. I will report on the findings of the review in the next Newsletter. YEAR 3 CAMP - This morning 85 very excited Year 3 children boarded buses that will take them to their first camp at Mt. Morton in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges. The camping program at LPPS is extensive because we believe that it plays an integral part in developing the social and emotional skills of our children. For most of these students it will be their first night away from family or relatives. It will be an opportunity to grow in resilience and overcome some personal inhibitions but also to participate in some fun and educative activities along the way. We will keep you updated on their progress via the Skoolbag app. Ray Flanagan
