To help you make this season a successful one, this meeting will inform you of a

couple of policies:

Each team administrator associated with any game for which data has been entered (i.e., the home AS WELL AS the visiting manager) will receive an Email to verify the posting.

This way, you will know in minutes that your posting was successful!

At this time, you will probably want to change the temporary password to a permanent password.

You must enter the schedule information regarding your

home games.

First, enter the home rink where the game will be played…….


Then, enter the date the game is scheduled…….

Information for your home games should be entered by noon on Monday.

However:Don’t forget that you must still order referees for

all of your home games!!!!!

Be sure roster information is accurate as this will be used to produce the tournament booklets.

(A drop down menu will help to identify players, head coach, and asst. coaches)

Gold Managers: Be sure your street address is entered so elite patches can be mailed to you!

Roster information must be entered by October 15th to

avoid being fined!

How do I enter the score after the game is completed?

You should post scores AS SOON AS POSSIBLE after each home game!

Please remember that scores of games not entered within 48 hours will result in being fined!

And, the data entry for that gameis now finished!!!!!!

Unless…………

The game involved a suspension…….

If a suspension was issued during this game, a scanned or picture copy of the scoresheet

MUST be submitted to NIHL’s Rules and Ethics Committee:

Question:What do I do with my copies of the scoresheets once the

games are completed, and I have entered the scores?

Answer:

Save those scoresheets!!!!

You will need to submit these at the end of the season for participation in NIHL’s Wolves Cup Tournament!

NIHL rules state that a player must participate in 60% of the NIHL games to participate in the Wolves Cup tournament.

It is your responsibility to prove that each player is tournament eligible.

Therefore, you will need to correctly fill out each scoresheet, and be able to submit the collection.

Managers must fill in thenames and jersey numbersof each player on theroster in this box

Any player missingthat game must havethe reason for hisabsence “explained” onthe scoresheet by one of 3abbreviations next tohis name:

“Inj”

“Susp”

“Abs”

“Inj” = The player is injured or sick

“Susp”

“Abs”


“Susp” = The player is suspended

“Abs”


“Susp” = The player is suspended

“Abs” = The player is not present for any other reason

“Susp” Counts AGAINST his 60% eligibility

A player is eligible to participate in the Wolves Cup tournament if the number of games in which he was marked either present or “injured” make up at least 60% of the total league games played by the team

As we near the Wolves Cup tournament, you will be asked to complete a spreadsheet with this information

-Therefore, you will need to save ALL of your scoresheets throughout the season

Anywhere on the front, as long as it is consistent from player to player. Please decide the BEST location on the jerseys

Elite team managers will also have their team’s elite patches mailed to them

The location of these on your team’s jerseys is at your discretion, but again, please be sure they are consistent from player to player.
