Saturday Night! As we've mentioned in the past, someof our goals are to support themedical community in their missionto heal children suffering fromPANS/PANDAS, and to look for waysto expand the medical care available.

With that in mind, we wanted to sharewith you something we have beenworking on in addition to running theconference. As you know, it is notoften these presenters come together,they are all so busy helping us helpour children.

That's right, we are asking for yourhelp again. We cannot make changealone but together we can make adifference. We want to invite doctors fromregional children's hospitals that workwith our children and are familar withPANS/PANDAS to learn more andmeet the speakers. We need your helpidentifying who they are. We felt it was important to maximizetheir time while in RI and host aspecial dinner, just for them, thatSaturday evening. We are alsoinviting key healthcare providers andresearchers to attend from across thecountry - another reason why we havebeen asking for sponsorship anddonation support! This is a costlyendeavor but just as critical as theconference.

This is an incredible and rareopportunity to have the doctors andresearchers gather and educate eachother, share treatment strategies, casestudies and support each other.

We are excited about this opportunitywe are providing and wanted to sharethis with you as well. All of thesedoctors are donating their time, theyare just an incredible group of careproviders! Please be sure to thankthem when you see them.

Helpful News forlast minuteattendees... We worked very hard to keep costs toattend the conference to a minimum,but we understand with the expenseswe have incurred taking care of ourchildren this cost can still be ahardship.

We just found out that theMassachusetts DevelopmentalDisabilities Council may reimburseexpenses for individuals withdevelopmental disabilities and/or afamily member or guardian of anindividual with a developmentaldisability to attend conferences orother events in Massachusetts oranother state. Applications must bereceived and approved prior to theevent. The council will respond torequests based on the CouncilEmpowerment Funds Programguidelines.
