FOGA ApS has on basis of information received from offshore‐operators at the North Sea prepared the following newsletter describing present activities:

MAERSK OIL

Vessels: 

The vessel BIBBY POLARIS conducting diving operations at the DUCfields from end of week 15 entering the safety zones at VALDEMAR BA, ROAR & TYRA EAST. 

The vessel ANETTE CHRISTINA  conducting guard duties at the TYRA East field. VENUS II is expected to relieve ANETTE CHRISTINA in the evening 13/05. 

The the ROV inspections carried out by the vessel ATLANTIS DWELLER at the DUC fields are expected to be finished within this week. 

Rigmoves: 

The acc. rig ATLANTIC ESBJERG is on a stand off position at DAN‐B

Survey at the DAN Field:

During the next couple of years Maersk Oil and the University of Aarhus are conducting a survey regarding the influence of noise from the oil platforms  on the harbour porpoises. In connection with the project a number of yellow  buoys have been deployed south and east of the DAN Field.

FINO 3 ‐ Research Platform

The research platform FINO 3was established in 2007/2008 approx. 45 nautical miles west of the island Sylt at the position 55° 11,7' N 007° 09,5' E.A 500 meter safety zone has been established around the platform, which in the future will be situated inside of the DAN TYSK wind farmarea.

DAN TYSK wind farmAcc. to the Danish Notices to Mariners No. 1154 the wind farm  DAN TYSK  will be established andmarked by cardinal buoys, stated by the  positions 1‐9). During the building phase a 500 meter wide safety zone will be established around the wind park. In the area will be prohibition of navigation,anchoring,  fishery and trawl equipment at theseabed.The prohibition period will be in force from1. december 2012. The wind farm , when completed, implies80 wind mills, a powerplatform, an accomodationplatform and  power‐ and communication cables.

The vessel EDDA FLORA is expected to carry out ROV inspections at the DONG assets as well as TYRA E, HARARLD, GORM and SYD ARNE starting at GORM approx. 30/4. For further information, please see www.foga.dk

Hejre Project:

In connection to the establishment of the HEJRE Platform a safety zone of 500 m has been established around the position: 56°14,809' N ‐003°57,534' E . The safety zone has been established according to the Energy Ministry Order No 657 of 30 December 1985. The guard vessel ESVAGT KAPPA are conducting guard duties at the HEJRE Platform site. Position: 56°14'51 N ‐ 003°57'37 E.

SOUTH ARNE fieldThe storage tank and top site of  SOUTH ARNE field is installed at position 56o 04,72' N  004o 13,82' E, connected with a new bridge and platform South Arne WHPE at position 56o 04,693' N  004o 13,85' E.Satellitplatform Syd Arne WHP N is installed at the position 56o 05,744' N  004o 13,154' E, where a safety zone of 500 meter is established acc. to DEA regulation No. 657. 

SOUTH ARNE's tanker loading  facility,  where tankers are  loaded at  8 ‐ 10 day  intervals  is located at WGS‐84 pos. 56o 05,55' N  004o 15,37' E.

RESOLUTE is established at the South Arne field's WHP E platform.

The standby vessel ESVAGT CARPATHIA is servicing at the North platform with MOB‐preparedness.

The accommodation rig COSL RIGMAR is espected moved from the South Arnefield's WHP N to Kristianssand .

During May 2015 the oil company Wintershall expect to etablish a new platform called RAVN at the VALDEMAR WNW oil field at the position:55°52,912'‐ N 004°14,078' E.  The work is carried out from the vessel STADISLAN YUDIN.  

A prohibited area with a radius of 500 m from the position will be established. Within the area unauthorized navigation, anchoring, diving and fishing is prohibited.

AF GruppenPACIFIC OSPREY has finished the decommisioning of the GNSC B11 gas platform on app. 55°27.45 N 004°33.00 Eand the vessels have left the site.  The cardinal buoys at the perimeter of the 500 m safety zone will be revocered as soon as possible weatherpermitting.
