The 2012 Finance Commission was provided theInternal Financial Report of the previous fiscal yearsby the NORCECA Finance Department. After beingreviewed and approved by the CommissionMembers, the reports were remitted to NORCECA’sexternal auditors, Ernst & Young, for the final auditof NORCECA’s 2010 and 2011 Financial Statementsand Accounts.

The NORCECA budgets were strictly followed and theThe NORCECA budgets were strictly followed and theaffiliated National Federations complied with thepayment of their affiliation fees. As well, allcompetitions were organized according to theforecasted budgets. NORCECA’s income enabled anincrease of a special reserve in order to financiallyassist the NORCECA Development Program, to hostthe Regional Caribbean and Central American Youthand Junior Championships, as well as the hosting ofthe FIVB Beach Volleyball Continental Cup.

Following the Congress held in October 2011, theposition of Treasurer was decided by the 2012NORCECA Board of Administration from a selectionof 3 qualified candidates. Jesus Prieto of Puerto Ricoearned the majority of the votes as the NORCECATreasurer.

NORCECA Website & NewslettersThe NORCECA website has greatly enhancedthe profile of NORCECA and its affiliatedNational Federations by providing betteraccess to breaking stories, up-to-date scoresand results from NORCECA and FIVBcompetitions for our viewers in 41 countriescompetitions for our viewers in 41 countriesand territories. Additionally, with theapproval of a new NORCECA logo, the websiteand all communication materials havereceived an updated and increasedprofessional profile.

The 2003-2004 and 2009-2010 Yearbookshave been completed, published anddistributed in 2011. In addition, a Newslettersummarizing the 2011 Competitions wascreated and distributed to all the delegatesattending the 21st NORCECA Congress. Workis currently being conducted to complete thehistorical Yearbooks from 2005-2006 and2007-2008 as well as the commencement ofthe 2011-2012 Yearbook.
