All Change
There has been such a lot to celebrate this week. On
Tuesday our Y6 (not Y7) learners received their SATs
results and we are really proud of all their achieve-
ments. Some of our staff learners have also been cel-
ebrating this weekhuge well done to Miss Booth,
Miss Morley and Miss Houghton, who passed their
HLTA training this week. Transition is well under way
this week, with many classes moving up to meet their
new teachers and in to their new classrooms. We had
a great turn out to our F1 Market Place and Information Sharing session on Tuesday - thank you
to everyone who came along to the sessions, either as a helper or as a parent, as you really helped
to make the day a success. Finally, some sad news today as we say goodbye and good luck to Mrs
Ostcliffe who will be moving on to a new job next week.
Y3 Visit to Creswell Crags
Year 3 had a fabulous visit to Creswell Crags on
Monday to finish off their learning about the
stone age. They
had lots of fun
digging for
bones and being
archaeologists
for the day,
solving the mys-
teries of the
stone age. They
were absolutely
absorbed in
their learning
and found it to-
tally fascinat-
ing. The trip
leader also praised their fantastic behaviour.
School Attendance
A big thank you to all parents/carers and pupils
for attending school and meeting the Govern-
ment target of overall school attendance 95%.
Athletics
Our Y3/4 Athletics team had a fabulous time
at the Dorothy Hyman stadium for their in-
ter school competition on Thursday after-
noon. Everybody put in such a fantastic ef-
fort and really stretched their perseverance
muscles throughout the afternoon. Well
Done!

Playground Improvement Project
On Thursday afternoon our Lead Learners and
Eco Council joined forces with the PTA and oth-
er parent volunteers to start work on their Tyre
Park Project. It was hard work, with lots of dig-

ryone who helped with the project.
