Koalas’ Speeches
Yesterday the Koalas delivered speeches on
transport to culminate their HSIE unit of work
from last term. There were some outstanding
speeches! All students delivered them very
well. Thank you to all parents and carers who
assisted with the preparation of speeches –
your support is greatly appreciated! Well done
to all students who delivered speeches, and to
the audience – they were fabulous!
Kindergarten Orientation Starting school is an important step for any child. To help families get used to the routine (and fun!) of ‘big school’, we will be hosting a series of orientation days in Term 4, which are open to all local families with preschool-aged children.

Dear Parents and Carers,
Community Volunteers We are fortunate to have the support of corporations that are offering us a team of their employees and materials to work on some of the Tallong Public School’s playground and garden projects in the next couple of weeks. Both Boral and Bunnings Goulburn will be sending a team to work with the community and students to support their sculpture garden and vegetable garden projects. Marulan Kite Festival The Marulan Kite Festival are inviting Marulan District preschool and school children, (Marulan PS, Tallong PS , Little Treasures Preschool and Marulan District Preschool), to enter their annual Design and Kite Art Competition. Kites will be provided and will be deco-rated at school. Awards will be presented at the Kite Festival on Saturday 31st October. The best judged overall Decorated Kite completed by a student will win $500 for their school. Let’s get decorating! Sun Safety Thank you parents and carers. Every child is now suitably hatted! Please remember to name all articles of clothing. Our two lost property baskets are overflowing. If your child has lost an item of clothing, lunchbox or drink bottle please think of looking in lost property.

Kookas’ Space Craft
Mrs Noble is going to be making space craft items this term and would be greatly appreciat-ed if students could please bring in any of the following items:
Empty snack boxes, buttons, fabric, wool, pa-per towel tubes, cereal boxes, bottle tops, small cardboard boxes etc.
Please hand them into Mrs Noble or the Kooka’s classroom.
