Page 1 Macleay Small Schools & District Swimming Carnivals Congratulations to those students who participated in the recent swimming carnivals held at Kempsey Pool. We had strong representation at both the Macleay Small Schools carnival as well the Macleay District PSSA carnival and at each one we were extremely pleased to witness our students trying their very hardest in the water while setting strong standards for others to follow out of the pool as well. 2019 P & C Meetings Our Kempsey South PS P&C meetings for 2019 will be held on the last Wednesday of each month. Its a wonderful way for parents and carers in our community to be involved in organising great activities which help raise funds to assist the school as well as make things much more affordable for all KSPS families. If youd like to come along the next meeting will be held on Wednesday 27 th February 2019 commencing at 3.15pm. Hope to see you there! School Grounds After Hours This is just a friendly reminder that students should not be entering our school grounds after hours and on weekends. With no one on site we are concerned that an injury may occur and they would have no help around. There has also been damage done to school property which could be attributed to a student should they be found on the school grounds after hours. To prevent either of these situations occurring we ask that you talk to your children to remind them of this fact. Its been a real delight to hear the excitement in their voices or see the smiles on their faces as they go into great detail when discussing their piece of writing, art creation or even mathematical solutions. All of this stems from the fact they are fortunate enough to be taught by a wonderfully-professional team of educators who are dedicated to ensuring that each student in this school demonstrates a years growth for a year of teaching. The programs running in the school are developed and tailored to cater for each childs particular learning needs and are expertly delivered each day in every classroom. You should be extremely pleased that your childs education is in great hands!
