    End of Term Arrangements

    What a big eleven weeks we have enjoyed at Tootgarook this Term. Thank you again to everyone who supported our market, sporting events, the classrooms and excursions.

    Dont forget that Term Two finishes tomorrow Friday 26th June with students being dismissed from the hall at 2:30pm. There will be a short assembly in the hall beginning at approximately 2:00pm to finish off the term and present our Students of the Term with their certificates.

    Term 3 resumes on Monday 13th July.

    Tomorrow morning at 8.15am Family Life & Rye Lions Club will be holding a Parents & Friends FREE Breakfast. Every student who brings a parent or friend with them for breakfast will receive a free raffle ticket with a chance to

    win a $30 meat voucher kindly donated by Cliffex Meats.

    ATTENTION HEALTH CARE CARD OR PENSION CARD HOLDERS The Department of Education + Training have introduced the Camps, Sports and Excursions

    Fund of $125 per child to be used towards school camps, sports and excursions. CSEF

    eligibility will be subject to the parent/legal guardians Centrelink Health Care Card (HCC) or Pension Card being successfully validated with Centrelink and must be valid on the first day

    of Term Two (13th April 2015). Application forms are available from the school office. Please

    present a valid Health Care Card or Pension Card to the office for photocopying.

    Applications need to be returned to the school office by Friday 26th June (last day term 2). No

    late applications can be processed.

  • Tootgarook Community Market is on this Saturday 27th June with 2J rostered on - thankyou to the following parents who have offered to

    help: Jenine Gorton, Alison Gate, Carol Davis, Eliza McIntosh, Joanna

    Cochrane, Michelle George, Mandy Oliver, Lisa Bateman our next

    market will be July 25th with Prep R rostered on. Thank you for your

    support.

    Expressions of interest are called for the 3 positions below.

    Successful candidates will work closely with the Tootgarook School

    Council Market Committee. All roles are paid positions and the

    selection process conducted by Tootgarook Primary School Council. Job

    descriptions can be collected from the front office and expressions

    of interest must be received by 2.30pm Friday 26th June.

    Prep B Mrs Bos Mahlia Cass-Fyson Mahlia has made impressive progress this term. She has well established work habits and continues her learning at home. Congratulations on your writing, spelling and reading achievement and keep practicing over the holidays. Prep R Mrs Read Rhiannon Silvester every week you bring in interesting items from home to contribute to our alphabet table. We look forward to seeing what you will bring in each week. 1H Mrs Hughes Kaiden Woulfe as voted by his peers for being helpful and friendly. Kaiden always demonstrates Respect Integrity Honest and celebrates other childrens achievements. Congratulations Kaiden. 1P Miss Perkins Kade Penzo Kade always enters the classroom ready to listen and learn. He has worked extremely hard this term and is a friendly class member. Kade always demonstrates our School Values. 2B Mrs Baird Alex Dickson for continually trying to improve his skills and developing a positive attitude to learning. Alex is a good friend to others. 2J - Mrs Johnstone Hazel Read Hazel always tries her best in all learning activities and is achieving highly in every area. Congratulations Hazel, you are a very deserving Student of the Term. 3A Miss Arnold - As voted by her classmates, Emmie Li Moylan for always being friendly, kind and caring of her fellow peers. She always follows the school R.I.C.H. Values. Keep up the great work Emmie Li! 3W Ms Walton - As voted by his classmates, Nash Penzo for being a wonderful friend to others. He is always helpful, kind and happy. Nash includes everyone in his games. A great friend to have. Good on you Nash.

    4S Miss Staley + Miss McGhee Dakota White - As voted by her peers for working independently, speaking politely, sharing, participating in all school activities and displaying the RICH school values at all times. Congratulations Dakota, we love having you in our grade! 5Q Mrs Bruin Zak Williams as voted by his peers. Zak is a great member of our class who always follows the RICH school values. He has a fantastic sense of humour and helps to cheer everyone up with a good laugh. Thanks for being such a valued member of our class. 6W Miss Withers Emma Campbell - as voted by her peers for always being kind and considerate of others and takes pride in her work. Emma always displays the RICH School Values. What a great term youve had Emma keep up the great work!

  • Lip Sync Idol 2015 What an afternoon of entertainment with a very high standard of performances by students from Gr 3 6. The winners with 30 points was KISS (aka Max, Harry, Emma,

    Obelia and Skye) performing I Wanna RocknRoll all Night. Congratulations!

    Equal 2nd Place was Jack OBrien playing TNT on the drums and Tahlia and Nakeeta performing

    Hook Me Up.

    Third place went to Chloe Mason with 26 points singing Over The Rainbow.

    Well done to all performers
