How is your email marketing working? It isn’t working. Not very many people seem to be reading my content and I can’t trace too many new clients or direct sales to the email marketing that I’m currently sending out.

It’s kind of working. I’ve had some good response from the people I send my email marketing to, but not really very many direct clients are coming out of these efforts and I’ve also noticed that my messages aren’t getting forwarded to referrals and new prospects like I wish they would.

It’s working great. I’m very impressed with how my email marketing is currently working for gaining new clients and creating buzz for my business.

A Monthly E-NewsletterI would love to share with my market my insights on a monthly basis and promote new products and services I’m offering each month as well. I want my clients to see me as a thought leader in my industry.

Weekly E-BlastsI want to stay in front of my audience with short, but effective promotions to continue to drive them to my business, while offering them something of value to read each week.

A Quarterly Marketing PieceI want to create a really solid quarterly email marketing piece to let me clients and market know what we’re doing and how they can become involved.A One-Time ProjectI want to get my feet wet and discover the results of focused email marketing.

Which one of these issues do you think is the biggest barrier to your future email marketing success?Lack of Time. I simply don’t have enough time to write solid marketing pieces and newsletters while trying to maintain my current clients and build my business – I need help with this!Lack of Content.I’m not sure what my market wants to hear about in an email marketing piece. I know I need to deliver more to them in terms of content than simply an advertisement about what I can do for them, but I don’t know what content will work the best. Lack of Audience. The subscribers or “opt-in” rates for my email marketing pieces are very low. This is probably the reason why I’m not getting the results I want. I need to create pieces that encourage stronger readership. How do I do this?
