Networking club activities- Quiz on:” Elementary of Computer Networking"

Department of Computer Science and Engineering, KLS's VDIT,Haliyal, Organized a QUIZ on " Elementary of Computer Networking" On 05/01/2021. This Event is organised by "Janaka Jal Bodhi Club" of CSE Department. This Event was open to 3rd ,5th and 7th Sem of circuit branches (EC/ CSE/EE) Students. The Event Coordinators are Prof. Abhayakumar Inchal and Prof. Jayashree Inchal.

On 13/01/2021, Miss Lavanya Davluri,Data Scientist-at Product Sampler, Toronto- Canada made concluding remarks to the students on the topic “Introduction to machine learning using python”. This event was co-ordinated by Prof. Vinay Chitare, ECE Dept, Prof. Raghavendra Nagaralli, ECE Dept, Prof. Nikhil Kulkarni, ECE Dept. This Add on course was intended to highlight the students with the present developments in the eld of machine learning.

Webinar by Niketa Dedhia

The Department of Mechanical Engineering in association ISTE student chapter conducted the webinar on “Path to success through quality and affordable higher education in International Universities” for the students, and teaching faculties. The Speaker of the Session Niketa Dedhia Founder and Principal Consultant at the Exponent Consultancy Services (ECS), USA. The overall session discussion benetted the faculties and students . This webinar helped the participants for their higher education in Germany and USA. More than 50 participates were present during webinar. ALUMNI SESSION AS A PART OF ADDON COURSE

DATED: 07/01/2021

Department of Mechanical Engineering under ALUMNI TALK SERIES had organized Webinar on “BIW (Body in White) Design Fundamentals”.The resource person was Our proud Alumni (2009-2011 Batch), Mr.Aditya Desai, who is presently working as Senior Design Engineer in TATA Technologies,Pune. Session was addressed for about 30 students of 5th and 7th semester. The students explored various aspects of BIW. The event was coordinated by Prof.Sanjay Dambal, Prof,Rajat Acharya, Prof.Santosh Savanur and Prof.Rashmi Melinmani.Later in the afternoon session, Mr. Aditya Desai also addressed our present nal year students regarding how to face interviews and how to be prepared for the technical round interview. Nearly 55 students took benet of this session and were happy to interact with the resource person.

Industrial Visit to Airtech PVT LTD:

As a part of curriculum, it is important for the students to have industrial practical knowledge. The practical knowledge can be gained by doing the industrial visits, internship and projects in the industries. To full this, the 5th Semester Mechanical students visited the Airtech PVT LTD company, Dharwad on 18/01/2021. The Visit is headed by Prof Shankar Badiger and Prof R.J.Talapati

Certicate of Excellence Award Received from Keio University, Japan The Project on Develop[pment of Burner received the Certicate of Excellence Award by social Innovative challenge competition held by Keio University-Indian Japan Laboratory and Indian Institute of Science (IISC), Bangalore.
