BUSINESS STRATEGY
Business strategy can be defined as the combination of all the decisions taken and action performed by the business to accomplish business goals and to secure a competitive position in the market. It is the backbone of business as it is the roadmap which leads to the desired goals. Any fault in this roadmap can result in the business getting lost in the crowd of overwhelming competitors.
Any Business objective without a strategy is just a dream. It is no less than a gamble if one enters market without a well-planned strategy. The five major reasons as to business strategy is important are given below: PLANNING Business strategy is a part of business plan. While business plan sets the goals and objectives, the strategy gives a way as to how it can be accomplished.
STRENGTH & WEAKNESS
When Business strategy is formulated one gets to know what are the underlying strengths & weakness and accordingly it helps in shaping it. EFFICENCY & EFFECTIVENESS When every step is planned, every resource is allocated and everyone knows what is to be done, business activities become more efficient and effective automatically. COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE
A business strategy focuses on capitalizing on the strength of the business and using it as competitive advantage to position the brand in a unique way. This gives an identity to the business and makes it unique in the eyes of the customer. CONTROL It decides the path to be followed and interim goals to be achieved. This makes it easy to control to activities and see if they are going as planned. Business strategy is closely aligned with business model which is a conceptual structure that explains how the business operates and profit is achieved, how it intends to achieve the goals etc. There are 3 levels of classification a) Corporate level b) Business unit lev-el c) Functional level. Examples of Business strategy a) creating a new market b) Buying the competition c) product differentiation.
Conclusion:
An effort has been made to bring out an awareness about what is business strategy .It is all about leaving aside the jargons and how to use these points in handling the business appropriately without disturbing our time tested good practices.

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
The object of CSR policy of the company is to contribute towards social welfare
projects with specific focus on education, providing vocational training,
improving the skills of identified unemployed youth through employment
oriented training program and facilitation of job opportunities as part of Skill
India initiative. Details of projects undertaken for the current year 2019-20 are
given below:
Bouquet of Program basket:
In the current financial year, the project is being implemented in 15 centers in
Tamilnadu, Telengana, Maharashtra, MP, Chhattisgarh, UP and Rajasthan
states. We have set a target to train minimum 1500 students through this
program across states.
Bouquet of Program: Candidates are offered suitable training program such
as 2-wheeler automotive training program, Hospitality, Healthcare, Beauty
depending upon their profile , aptitude etc. All these program were
responded very well by students, vendors, OEMs and Dealers. Till now, more
than 1000 unemployed youths have enrolled in this program. A group of
candidates have already completed the program successfully and got
placed well. One more group of candidates are undergoing practical/
theoretical training and have been able to secure job as well.The
implementation agency is M/s Pratham Arora Centre for Education (PACE).
This is a focused program with wide coverage of locations. This is an ongoing
program and the active involvement of the SCUF executives in the successful
implementation is worth special mentioning. Program wise agenda and
scope is mentioned in the below table

below. CSR desk at our corporate office is monitoring the program on a day to
day basis.
